Philips Norelco Nosetrimmer 3100 for Ear, Nose and Eyebrows, NT3155/60

Better than other styles because of its "unique ProtecTube guard system." Cuts close, cuts quickly, does not pull. Cleans under running water. Mine came with a battery.Made well. Quality materials.I got the impression from using this product that Philips Norelco wanted to made a high-quality trimmer that most people will say works better than all the other trimmers they have used. Everything about this trimmer is a little better than the other trimmers I have used in my 45-year fright of looking into the mirror each morning.I have two, one for home, one in the travel bag.

This is the best trimmer I've owned. It is the first one that seems to have been designed as a professional tool, rather than simply an "as seen on TV" type trimmer. Uses one battery and provides very active microblade type trimming. No pulling of hairs. Very easy to manipulate into nose, ears, eyebrows. Inserting the battery is not obvious, but the instructions show: the bottom portion that twists on/off, is also the portion that removes for inserting the battery. (You have to twist it to a certain position.)

My other Philips products work fine, this one worked well for 2 months and doesn't now. Swapped battery and still doesn't work.Update: From reading other reviews I didn't realize it needed lithium batteries. I had tried alkaline and nimh and neither worked. I bought some new lithium batteries and got it to work again.Adding two stars back for that. I had been using it a lot to trim some outlying beard hairs. Replaced the batteries and bought a dedicated beard trimmer for that job. Hopefully batteries will last longer now.

I noticed a lot of reviewers saying the unit died after a few uses.Mine did this when the first battery died.I replaced the battery and I would not work. But the unit was not dead, it was just jammed.To fix the problem, I twisted off the cutting head (it's removable) and turn the unit on and could see the little brass pin spinning.The little white plastic piece inside the head had became jammed so I used a toothpick to clean it out and it started working.Besides that issue this trimmer is better than most of the other trimmers I have tried but still not perfect.The cutting head just doesn't seem to cut short enough and sometimes you can pass over a hair multiple times and it will not catch or cut the hair.It cuts better than any other I have used at this price point but I do not think I would buy it again.Once this one dies for good I will look for something better.

Had been putting off buying one of these because of the cost and fear it would pull my nose hairs. But I found this unit at a great price and have great respect for the Norelco brand (used their rotary shavers for many many years), so I purchased it. The unit worked great and made fast work of my nose hair with no pulling at all. I am quite happy with this product.

Trust me when I tell you this product is crap. Spend a little more money for a norelco 3100. Or at least try a trimmer with the type of nose trimmer head on the 3100. I can only speak for the norelco 3100 and g370. my nose trimmer attachment broke on my 370 and it was less money to buy a new 3100 then replace the attachment. otherwise the unit will probably last for ever. for a couple more bucks you get a nose trimmer that works great, is comfortable to use and you get 4 more attachments that all work great. I cant speak for the eyebrow attachment. maybe ill try it and update my review. til then, happy nose trimming. peace out!

Borrowed a roommates and loved it so much, I had to get one just like it. This really makes trimming your eyebrows super easy. I had a small stick type of shaver that would leave really long sections that I would have to touch up with scissors. To me, that negates the point of using a trimmer! This has some negative reviews about it failing after a short time. I will hope that I got a "good one" like my roommate, his has lasted a long time. Mine has been used once a week for a month without issues so far.It's easily rinsed out, without having to take it apart and worry that you are getting something wet that shouldn't be.It's a great product- the only con I have is I wish it were rechargeable. I hate using batteries if I can help it.Give it a shot, It's really a great little personal shaver.

El producto es de excelente calidad, no tengo problema con el producto, excepto que yo pedí la Norelco 3155 y me llegó la 3160, aunque básicamente casi es la misma, quedé satisfecho con el resultado. Trabaja bastante bien y reduce el vello sin arrancarlo. Cumple lo que promete.
