Vera: The Art and Life of an Icon

It’s a beautiful and colorful book featuring Vera’s art work. I wish more scarf designs and housewares were included.I enjoyed the exhibition in NYC about her art. Her creations bring back wonderful memories for me from my childhood.

This book is beyond what I even expected. From the inside and out. The book itself is beautiful, the hardcover linen like material on the outside is perfect. And then you open it and WOW, not only knowledgable of Vera Neumann's life and career, but the photos are breath-taking. I cannot express how much this book is priceless. I couldn't put it down when I got it! And may I add looks lovely on the bookshelf. A favorite new addition!

This book is beautifully written, thoroughly researched and -- perhaps most importantly -- gorgeously illustrated. It just arrived today and I don't want to do anything else but read it. I was especially thrilled to find that (so far) two of the Vera scarves I own are in it! The authors have tons of information and photos about Vera's fascinating life, her Marcel Breuer house, interest in Alexander Calder... and I'm only about 1/3 of the way through so far. Good job, authors!

I was thrilled to receive this amazing book. I literally read it cover to cover. I felt like it gave me more insight into one of my favorite artists. I am looking at my collection with an even greater appreciation of Vera.

Love this book! Very fun and inspiring. The pictures are great and the writing is interesting too, but you could just buy it for the pictures because they are so inspiring!

Beautiful photos of Vera and her designs! Growing up, her designs were everywhere in our homes and looking through this beautiful book fitting for the coffee table brings back some wonderful memories.

Great photo/color plates of Vera's designs. Didn't realize page torn out till just finishing reading this evening.

The book is fantastic and inspirational, it arrived before its expected due date and was in good condition. It was a Christmas gift and was well received.
