Great sprayer. At first it was hard to get the pressure right. You have to know how to paint and use sprayers to know what to adjust too. It is a HVLP so it says 10psi max. Although, 10psi was not enough. I put my regulator to about 20 psi and after the initial burst it would run steady at about 10psi.This is one of the best gravity fed systems I have ever used. Just be sure to purchase a regulator. Otherwise you will have a huge mess on your hands.

Do not buy a cheap spray gun from a home improvement store. I never used one before and was very impressed with how well this worked. Practice on scrap material to get your technique down and to test the consistency of your paint.

I am a novice and the gun sprayed well. There is a little orange peel on the clearcoat I sprayed. Only 4 stars because customer support at Ingersoll-Rand never answered my inquiry. Might want to spend the extra $50 and get the Eastwood. Their customer support is phenomenal.

Does not stand up to solvents for long. Outer paint destroyed, O-Rings destroyed, and tip damaged. Started spraying severely inconsistent. Unusable after about 5 paint jobs. I recommend the devilbiss finishline series, a little more expensive but worth every penny, and will continue working after years of heavy usage, and spray the same as the day you bought it.

Got here fast and is typical Ingersol Rand quality. I bought one of these guns years ago and love it. This purchase was for a Christmas gift and he was thrilled.

I may not have purchased the correct sprayer to paint a 10x10 closet...I thought it would be easy to tape off the door and just spray away...so I read some reviews and picked up this well rated spray gun. I was able to assemble it and set it up fine. Had air flowing thru it in no time. Added my latex paint to the cup and started testing...very slowly! With the pattern turned OFF, I got a fine coat slightly larger than a golf ball...OK, no biggie, I know I want to use a fan pattern so I start working the knob and it stops spraying paint, just spits air...turn it back off and I get my golf ball sized spray pattern back...pattern on, no paint...I pour the paint back in the can and can see in the bottom of the included cup the paint is pretty thick...I think if I thin the paint it might work...I did add some water to the cup and tried the pattern again, but may have already clogged up...I broke out a roller and finished 2 coats in an hour, should have saved the 90 bucks for this gun that may be good for detail work, but is not working for painting walls to well...I will update this review when I have a chance to thin the paint and try again...Also note: this device is a bit heavy with a full cup of paint, regulator and oil\water\air seperator attached.

Ordered a new unit, received a very used spray gun with many colors of paint all over the item. The previous owner made no attempt at cleaning it, and IR or AMZ obviously did not even look at it, just put it back on the shelf. Goodluck.

This gun is very well built and sprays excellent, well balanced

Love this gun ! Large capacity. Easy to use and clean. Excellent price. I only use for lacquer.
