Nexcare Tegaderm Transparent Dressings 4 Inches X 4 4 Inches

I had a pretty serious second degree burn on my thigh, and needed something to cover the wound for several weeks until the skin healed. I first used dressing tapes to keep the dressing in place but it made my sensitive skin very itchy and blister. Then I started to use this, and it was a game changer!!! It stays in place very securely and I could take a shower with so much ease!! It also stayed several days!!! Most importantly, it was not painful when I took it off to change it. It was very nice and gentle for my sensitive skin. Get this if you have a wound that needs dressing to be taped for few weeks, it is definitely worth it.

I really didn’t need an entire roll of Dermshield, and while I find Saniderm to be fantastic, in its own right, I prefer the flexibility that the Tegaderm and Dermshield offers. I have used all three on multiple tattoos of varying sizes and locations. I actually bring the Tegaderm now to appointments in the event that they don’t use it because everything just feels so much better and I can’t stand the old-school saran wrap method. If you have a more heavily saturated tattoo or an area that tends to get more exposure to use, I put this on for three days, remove it as instructed and then put it back on for another three and I have noticed that that healing gets accelerated and goes much smoother. Highly recommend to keep things like this on hand if you get tattooed often. I have sensitive skin and the longer you leave it on or if you don’t take it off right it can definitely leave red irritation mostly around the edges. I think it’s worth it because medical tape does me dirty, and the healing is so much better. I did find however that as long as I keep that and the new tattoo properly moisturized with Hussle butter, the tattoo heals great, and the irritation does as well.

Found a recommendation to use this to repair a beat prosthesis that had been ripped through by a kittens nails. It did the job perfectly and is invisible. Still holding after months.

A tattoo artist says there's a new way for new tattoos to heal: using this tegaderm sheets! You leave this clear sheet on for 5 days following a new tattoo. Remove the sheet & apply lotion to keep it from drying out for the next 5 days. Super easy! Artists do different things but this was the easiest healing for a tattoo that I've experienced. I will probably find other uses for this!

It's not worth it as it crumbles up or comes off too easy. I had patches that I needed to keep from getting wet is why I purchased it. (It didn't work)
