Really nice set for the price. I don't do a lot of furniture restoration, so I'll probably never need to buy another one. This is a thick thread. It's good for my purposes, but probably not delicate enough for fine stitching on leather gloves or jackets. Great value, and great variety of needles for needs that may arise.

Purchased a dog seat cover for our SUV, it ripped and I had to decide whether to take it somewhere for repairs or do it myself, glad I found this product it worked very well and hasn’t torn again.

Needed to repair a canvas tote bag and wanted a stronger, thicker thread since the repair was on a stress point. Also needed a needle that would be large enough to receive the thread and strong enough to go through the fabric.This little “kit” was perfect. 3 thread colors to match/contrast most jobs and a variety of needles that are labeled for each use (leather, canvas, mattress, etc).

It's perfectly serviceable. You absolutely need to use a thread puller to reliably get the thread through the included needles, and with how cheap thread pullers are I would have liked to seen some included. Even with a thread puller however the eye of some of the needles are just too small for the included thread. The quality of the needles is otherwise fine, I haven't had any break on me yet.The thread itself is pretty decent, very thick and durable. Been holding up to a rambunctious cat.

I ordered this to repair the Velcro closure on a MX kidney belt. I needed strong needles and thread to get through the thick material. The needles that came with this kit are not sharp at all. They are quite rounded ion the end instead of sharp and the eyes of the needle I am using slightly bent. The dullness of the needles makes it difficult to get the needle through the material. The thread is not coated so it sticks to the velcor and frays making it knot up when I pull the needle through. For non-Velcro items, the thread would probably be fine. The needles are not at all helpful for me for this particular project. I would not order this kit again.

I got the thread to repair a car seat and it worked perfectly.
