Experienced an inconsistency but great customer service
Edited review:I've purchased this harness twice in two sizes. First, a large in pink, and second a medium in red. The large pink harness was comfy for my pup but wouldn't adjust like it should. It was a manufacturing error that I later learned after assessing the medium--which was in excellent condition but the sizing seemed so off in ways I did not expect. After posting a review, the company contacted me to troubleshoot. At first they sent information on proper adjustment, but the large that I had was actually defective. They sent me a new large harness, and just like the medium harness I received, it's of excellent quality.I will say that these harnesses are not the easiest to adjust--even when made properly. If you have a puppy or an active dog, it can be a bit of a nightmare to get it right. My dog is a x-large breed (bernese mountain dog), and as he's teething, adjusting it was a 15 minute experience of being a chew toy. It's a double-edged sword as it's incredibly sturdy once you have it adjusted properly. If your dog is super close to the default settings you won't have much trouble.I only use the back hook and the handles and both have held up well to a very active large pup. The material is thick enough that I don't have to worry about him destroying it if he managed to chew on it a bit before it's on. The vibrance of the reflection of the red harness is perfect. The pink one was a little dull--but as I received one that didn't meet the same quality of the following two I received I'd take that with a grain of salt.Overall, I'd give it a solid 4.5. Amazon doesn't do half-points, so I'm upgrading it to 5 just because customer service was pleasant and contacted me to rectify the situation even though my original review was middle of the road. It's decently priced and unless you're unlucky, you should be getting a really solid harness that's adjustable for pups that are still growing.Original Review (3/5):I have a Bernese Mountain dog. I bought this harness in a large size and it was great at the bottom but didn't fit the top. Bought a second in medium and the medium is bigger than the large one I already own. Its durable and pup likes it but the sizing issues should be looked at.

Attractive and very functional.
I really like the color of this harness. It is good and sturdy for our 6 month old yellow lab.

Works for large dogs
I purchased a few weeks back so I feel I can give a more accurate review. The harness is well made for an 80lb dog and is stylish to boot. I appreciate that it has two leash hooks, on the top and under the head/neck area for when they are being stubborn and do not want to walk. I do find the tightening a bit difficult for someone with arthritis.

Love this!
I love Border Collies and have raised and trained many. I have a lot of experience at restraining these little Houdinis! We have a Border Collie puppy, 4 mos. old. This is a perfect size for her (XS). It has two places to connect to the leash. The one on top is the standard. The one on the chest pulls her around to face me if she tries to bound ahead to take ME for a walk. It fits snugly enough that she can't back out of it nor does it chafe her anywhere. She can't turn and chew it. We leave it on 24/7 right now with a short leash to step on when we have her wait but she runs. It has plenty of extension strap as she gets larger but by 40 lbs, she will need a medium. The colors are great- the red and teal really stand out against her black and white fur in the daylight and the 'fluorescent' reflecting trim really does highlight her for traffic at night. It's well made. Better than any of the others I've examined or tried to use This is the harness you NEED for that little rascal! When we size up, we'll replace this with a larger one...probably a medium with straps snugged down.First edit: Baby girl has grown fast. I reordered both the small and medium sized to get a correct fit. The small fit most accurately at 6 mos. What made the difference was the LENGTH of each of the three (between the neck and chest.) The weight of the buckles played a part, too. Going by the parents' size, she'll be about 35 lbs full grown and the small may well still fit for circumference, but again, the length may come into play. Each size becomes more substantial with the straps and buckles. We'll keep the medium to use down the road. I really, really dislike collars. The head jerking against the spine is just not safe for some dogs.6 mos:At 25 lbs, small still fits.9 mos: switching to medium. Tightened as much as possible, it is a bit slack but the small is pulling against her front legs.1 year old now. 30 lbs. Long and lean. A medium fits well now and has enough strap left to lengthen as she fills out. I think the medium is as large as she will need. Something I hadn't mentioned is the loop on the back has been very useful for a quick grab when she was younger or working with "sit" vs. "lie down." Another point is it can be thrown in the washer with dog towels after a bath so it doesn't get that horrible smell that leather gets.As she's grown stronger and heavier, I really appreciate the ring on her chest. When she starts to pull suddenly (as puppies do) the dynamics of the lower ring swings her around to face me. Ya jus' gotta laugh at her expression! The plastic clips haven't caused any problems and the webbing and stitching stayed strong and dependable. I hope you enjoy this harness a much as we have!

Great harness!
10/10 recommend! My girl dog is a puller , and having this on she really doesn’t pull as much. The nice thing is it has 2 hooks, one on the back and on on the chest , so when she does pull I clip it on the chest and it corrects her pulling. The colors and quality of this product is just great! And it’s nice bc it’s not huge and bulky like some dog vests can be, it’s a lot smaller than most which I like .

Great Value!
Durable, bright and easy to use. Love this harness!! I ordered the XS for my still growing Maltipoo when she was 9lbs and now just over 12lbs it still fits great!

Better than our previous harness, but...
This harness (Phoepet) appears to be more secure than the current harness we are using (Coastal). Our pup has "popped" completely out of our old model twice (this week) and one leg several times. (But it is easier to put on). This harness is more secure, but I cannot get it adjusted properly.I did purchase an open/returned unit. It came with no instructions. While it was not immediately intuitive, I was able to figure out the adjustments. The problem, as I see it, is or pup is on the cusp of S and XS (11" neck/18"chest) so the adjustments are at the extreme end (either maxed out or maxed in) of adjustment. This means the adjusting bubbles can be difficult to operate in the smallest fitting.I do like the harness, but will probably return it, due to difficulty of fit.
