It was a great gift for my mentally challenged friend

I bought this for my mom who has Dementia. It was the perfect amount of pieces and not "childish". She is finding the 36 piece puzzles designed for Dementia patients a little too easy. 64 pieces are just right. I hope there are more options in this size that appeal to this age group.

Springbok puzzles are excellent, and this one is no exception. Bright colors, crisp lines, sturdy box, clean cuts - no rough or stuck corners, very low dust. The pieces are glossy coated; so they'll hold up to repeated handling. Sixty pieces is perfect for a precocious puzzler at age 4 (or with assistance), an independent puzzler at age 5 (I recognize Springbok recommends age 6, but it's been my experience that children can accomplish puzzles independently well before manufacturer's recommended ages). Subject matter is adorable, and gender-neutral.

Easier puzzle for seniors with dementia. Can be put together with help in a short amount of time. A sense of accomplishment builds self-esteem when so many skills are becoming more and more difficult for the person. Encourages socialization and verbal skills when working together withothers. More of these 35 & 60 piece puzzles with colorful pictures that seniors can relate to are needed. They aren't just for kids!

Great quality puzzle pieces- sturdy and fun to put together. My 6 year old and I enjoyed it and even found that it came with two duplicate pieces. Never seen that before, but as long as it was complete we didn’t mind.

It was perfect for the kids age 6 and 9 not to easy and not to hard.
