The tray was well made and sturdy. The only problem I found was that some areas were smoother than others. It was fixed with a little sanding.

These are amazing and versatile and add a little class to the kitchen. I regret not buying seven when they were 13.99

I have had some very similar trivets for many years as the kids were growing up. We used them a lot. The kids are all out on their own now and when I asked my daughter what she wanted as a gift she said I want some “boards” like you have. As the kids were growing up that is what they used to call the trivets! She said she had some trivets but really liked the wooden ones she grew up with and didn’t want anything else! I haven’t given her the gift yet but they are very similar and I think she will love them. Mine came with a wooden stand to store them in and the edges were rounded, but these are very nice and will do the trick. Just a suggestion that maybe a set of 4 with a stand would be a good product to sell.

I like this kind of trivet much more than metal trivets. My review title explains why. The only disadvantage would be if you use very hot pots and pans that discolor the wood by burning its surface.These particular trivets are very well made, attractive, and a valuable every day kitchen tool

My tortoise broke a small table I had outside. I had pin style legs left that I drilled into the bottom of this. Works perfectly as a side table for drinks next to my seating area outside.
