I've gone through several tins of this in the last five years. When I finish one, I often decide to try other products, only to return to this. Nothing else has been as healing for my hands and cuticles, and after a number of applications, my nails start to shine as if they've been buffed. I love the smell and a little goes long way. The people who say it's greasy are applying too much. It just takes a little to give you light coverage and protect your hands from the elements, and it absorbs quickly. I've been out of it since late winter and tried several other hand salves. Nothing compares to Burt's Bees and it's a great value compared to competitors - Burt's Bees is 3 ounces for $10, verses 1.75 ounces for $13, or even higher. I may keep a hand lotion in my purse, but this is going to forever be my main go-to. No more brand hopping!

I have kitchen lifer hands. Dry and cracked and scaley at all times. I have tried literally dozens of different hand creams and salves. This is one of surprisingly few products that works consistently well and doesn't break the bank. Smell is great, rubs in well but it does leave a bit of an oily layer so be careful handling things after using. Great stuff. One or two good layers and my hands usually come back to life. Burts Bees is great!

This stuff is fantastic, it softens the skin in my hands nicely and has a pleasant smell, I like to massage it into my cuticles before bed as it really helps to strengthen and grow them out faster, I use it to soften my knees and heels too, my last tub lasted me almost three years and didn’t go bad so definitely a good deal

This is a must have if your hands get dry and irritated in the colder winter weather. While it does go on feeling a bit greasy and takes a little while to absorb in, it creates almost a barrier to protect your skin that lasts. You can also help with the greasiness by starting off with a smaller amount and getting a little more is necessary. If you put on too much it may not completely absorb. However, this is not something your will have to constantly be reapplying, so taking a little more time initially isn't an issue. It also has a light, pleasant scent that is neutral enough not to cause problems for people that might be sensitive to smells.
