Creator Aviation Adventure 31011 Toy Interlocking Building Sets

I have a lot of legos. Okay, "my kids" have a lot of legos but I do most of the buying and lots of the assembling and playing. This is one of the best sets we have. Great detail and fun to build. Rock solid when assembled, good for play. The creator sets are great in my opinion and this is one of the best. Be wary of third party seller mark ups on legos from this site.

This kit occupied my 5.5 year old for about 5 hours. He actually had to take a break half way thru due to the sheer number of parts and steps. I had to help him just a little with the linkage from tail wheel to the rotating propeller, including the ratchet mechanism that pushes the prop in only one direction. But it really kept him busy and engaged. And now that it is built, it is one of the few kits that has not been "integrated" into the Lego bin - but remains assembled as a whole toy to play with.Well done, Lego.

Present for my sons 8th birthday. It took him about 4 hours to build. He is in love and it’s amazingly bigger than I originally thought. My son is a lego boy and will have me buy them all. :)

It was one of the memorable gifts, you could present to your loved ones, ensuring that they are able to do magic with their creativity. An Excellent gift for learners.

This is a pure LEGO set. I am in awe of the versatility offered in one box.The design of the plane is simply amazing and when you are done putting it together you realize how clever the design engineering is (the rear cockpit slides to open, the propeller will move when you push the rear wheel). The best thing about the plane model is that it will also fit your LEGO mini figures, a feature not always seen in the creator line. Bottom line, buy this set sort the pieces and pick which model you are going to build (boat, helicopter or plane). once you get board with that one you can make the other model and then the next. Finally, forget the instructions and let your imagination take over. Some of the pieces in this set are pieces I have never seen before. Forget the themed sets, this is the set for pure LEGO fans.

This was a birthday gift and this Lego box was not new! Every corner of the box was smashed. The ends were retaped closed. The tape and the box was dirty and old looking. I will not be using this seller again!

Had a lot of fun putting this set together. A hundred bucks for a 618 piece set isn't exactly ideal, but it is probably the best you're going to find as far as airplane sets go.
