I need to correspond with the vendor. I have been lax in doing so.I love the feel of the cushion. It seems to be well made and solid...not squishy. Unfortunately, it is not long enough nor, especially, wide enough for my bottom.Secondly, my orthopedic doctor as well as many published studies indicate that proper sitting position is a 7 degree decline from your tail bone to the bend of your knees. Try sitting this way...it feels much better over time.I would suggest that the cushion be offered in a "bigger butt" size and in an assortment of angles. I know, too many sku's to be affordable. Perhaps at least one or two versions with a steeper angle.Auto manufacturers are stuck in the 1950's with their idea of "cool" seats. Safety and appearance are improved nowadays, but the car companies apparently never ask the expert opinions of orthopedic surgeons nor physical therapists nor kinetic engineers. It's as if bucket seats are required to make your butt sit downward into a "bucket".

This is an updated review for the new version of the cushion:A couple of weeks ago, I received the updated (prototype) version of the Ortho-Buddy. This newer version allows me to sit much more comfortably at work for my 10 hour shifts. While the cushion does compact a bit during long sits, all I have to do every once in a while is stand up for a minute, and the cushion goes back to its original shape. While the original cushion did the same, the original cushion was almost TOTALLY flat on long sits. The newer version of the cushion is thicker and is much more supportive throughout. More importantly to me, is the downright nasty odor is NOT evident with this newer cushion. My main need for a seat cushion had been met.To be honest, this would be a 4 star cushion, however.. another star was added due to the level of customer service, and communication that Jon at BHE gave me trying to remedy the issues I had with the original cushion.Is this seat cushion perfect? NoIs this seat cushion better than its predecessor? YES!Would I recommend it? Yes, with the caveat that the reason for my buying this seat cushion (coccyx bone issue) may be totally different than your reason for buying.

Although my PT recommended another brand of seat for my condition, I wanted to give this one a try. It arrived within the promised time, well packed, so I immediately decided to give it a try. I am very happy with it. It literally is my buddy, because it comes with me everywhere. At work I am in many different places, sometimes sitting among the public, others in less public areas, but wherever I have to go, the chairs are AWFUL! But now I don't have to suffer anymore, my buddy gives me the support AND softness that I need for my back condition. And I love the handle on the side!

My husband bought this for work. He said it was very comfortable. He thought it smelled musty and wanted to see if it could be cleaned, and when he unzipped the covering the zipper broke and there were mold spots on the back side of the memory foam. He sent it back and did get a full refund. Not sure we will read purchase due to mold issue and the zipper was cheaply made.

I wanted to love this, but I do not feel that the seat size is adequate. For me, it is not easy getting in and out of a vehicle, and then to keep the cushion in place is difficult. For me, the cushion is on the small size both width and length.

My husband has been using going on one year! He uses it his work truck everyday, he drives 4-6 hours of his work day 6 days a week, he asked me to buy another one for him. I can’t find it anywhere ): please help! he has had every kind of seat cushion available this is the he One for him. Best purchase ever

I describe chairs as being tailbone friendly or unfriendly and this fits the bill! Did a lot of "research & review" for what a quality seat cushion should include and this product hit the mark: gel - memory foam - 3" thickness - grip on back - soft removable cover with handle - dimensions - diagram - video.I am ordering a second one - for work & home. Thank you for the new version 2.0.

I use this at work and have had it for over a month now. My hips use to hurt and no longer do now. Great product!
