Elite Sports Kids BJJ GI, GIS for Youth Jiu Jitsu IBJJF Children’s Lightweight Brazilian Jiujitsu Kimono W/Preshrunk Fabric & Free Belt

I run a Jiu-Jitsu program for nearly 40 kids and have bought all of their gis on their behalf. After doing lots of research, I decided to go with the Elite Sports Essential IBJJF Ultra Light Kids BJJ gi. I started ordering the non "Essential" make because it had over 400 reviews with a 4.5star rating, and this one had less than 10 reviews. However, after checking in with their customer service team, I learned that the only difference between the two products is whether or not you want to pay more for the word "Elite" to be written in big letters across it. I preferred to save the money and continue to be happy with the products. The quality and the lightness of the material is great, especially here in Hawaii where it is hot. Sometimes the belts are not quite long enough, especially for the bigger kids, and I've had to buy larger belts separately in some cases. Sometimes the belts don't arrive with the packaging, in which case I've had to return it to Amazon in order to get a corrected delivery, which can be annoying because of the time lost, though it's not anything to get irate about. All in all, I've been very happy with this gi and how it's performed, and the price point is great. Their customer service team is great for any questions you may have. I've even purchased one for myself so that I can match the kids gis exactly (I like the orange trim on the blue uniform). Great value for money, even if you have to order another belt separately. I'm not sure if there is any way to allow users to specify which size belt they want with their gi? Oh, also, I believe that wingspan should be measured fingertip-to-fingertip and not wrist to wrist the way the diagram shows on the product page... Still, five stars.

. My five and seven year old son began learning jujitsu this month . After seven classes they requested Gis. I looked on Amazon for an appropriate Ju Jitsu specific Gi for them. These seem perfect in price and quality . After my sons wore them to class , the instructor singled them out in front of the class and announced all the kids should have Gis like theirs. Apparently a few kids have karate clothes or Gis with material which does not hold up to the rough pulls and holds in jujitsu. My husband (who takes them to the classes) and my sons really enjoyed the compliments. Several of the other parents asked for the brand. So with my limited knowledge of martial arts attire and with the help of Amazon and others r reviews, I enabled my kids to dress appropriately and impress the instructor.The kids love wearing these things too. I bought several sizes and just received them. They look great but one of them is a different size then what the tag says. Tag is size C000 yet the Gi is much bigger then the other C000 size and even bigger then the C0.

This Gi fits perfect! My daughter loves how it feels, she is very picky on texture. Quality surpasses my expectations, will definitely be buying more from this brand.I also bought my son this gi in Grey. His also fits perfectly and is good quality. He loves practicing in it.

For kids there isn't a better solution to them growing out of the gi before they wear the gi out. Growing kids don't need $100 gi's that will last for years. With that said Elite Gi's are warn by many of the adults I roll with and hold up very nicely. They are also comfortable to wear.

We ordered this for my son to start going to jiujitsu with me. The C00 top is way too big in the navy blue. Our friends son has the same brand, same size but in a different color and his top is a completely different size than my sons. I’m extremely disappointed because he wants to do jiujitsu but he’s got a bad top now until I can buy him something else. Waste of money.

I ordered the pink GI for my granddaughter and it showed up on time, which was quick! I love it! It is absolutely beautiful, the color is vibrant and the quality is great, it is a great value well made Gi. I can’t wait to see her face when she opens it, pink is her favorite color. I highly recommend it and will be using elite sports for all my ever growing grandkids Jiujitsu needs.

The gi size we ordered was C0 (should be the same as K0). Other kids in my son's class have K0 and we tried their gis on prior to ordering and they fit perfectly. The gi size was still way too big for him and seems to be similar in size to my oldest son's K1 gi. Additionally the belt seemed like it wasn't even made for a K0 and was so small I could barely tie it when wrapped around his body. The belt was also an extremely thick material, similar to what the collar of the gi is made of, making tying it that much harder. We at least have multiple belts at home so this isn't an issue, but the inconsistent sizing is the reason for the 3 stars.

The sizing for the pink C00 is off. Against the sizing charts and my other gi in blue, it measures more like a C1 than a C00.Having ordered the other version of this gi also in pink, its the same issue.
