I absolutely love this wax pot! Before ordering it I looked a several here on Amazon and I read all of the reviews, which scared me a little. Regardless of the okay to bad reviews that I read I bought the Gigi Wax Warmer anyways. I am really glad I did because it is perfect! I have had my wax warmer for almost a year and I have not one problem with it. Everything shipped in tip top shape and it does its job well. The pot has a Low Medium and High setting which I would suggest starting off on high to melt the wax but reducing the temperature in between Low and Medium when waxing. I used the beaded wax so that I don't have to chip away at a large wax brick which melts quickly and evenly. I use hard wax so no strips, I have not tried the other wax type with this pot. I would suggest not using the little paper ring that it comes with because it just makes a mess and it cardboard gets very hot. I got the Gigi angled wax sticks as well after purchasing the pot. They have in my opinion very good quality items. I never finish all of the wax in the pot so I love that it has a cover because then I just store the rest of the wax until the next time I wax and it stays clean.

I ordered this on a whim. Surprisingly really good for the price. It heats up fast and melts the wax perfectly. It has one simple easy switch to turn it on and it does its magic.

This item is amazing! I purchased a set about 6 years ago. Unfortunately the warmer stopped working but I did purchase another because it works well.

I got the adjustable temperature wax warmer and I'm happy with my purchase for the most part. The plug is a decent size and the warmer isn't too heavy or bulky. It warms up the wax quickly (took maybe about 10-15 mins for the sides of the wax to turn soft and maybe another 20 mins for the whole thing to become spreadable) and keeps it warm, there aren't any issues with the temperature going hot to cold back to hot again.I do wish they made the warmer in a smaller size. I purchased the Gigi face wax and it only comes in a small container. This warmer is too big for it and the wax can is fully inside the warmer. I know I could buy the mini warmer but it doesn't have the adjustable temperature feature which was a must for me. I have to be extra careful when taking extra wax off my stick so that it doesn't touch the sides of the warmer and gets it dirty.Worth the money but if the company is reading this, make your mini warmer with an adjustable temperature feature please!

I use this in my hair salon, it works great! My last one just like this last me about eight years. This is a great warmer.

This wax warmer overheats the wax even on the lowest setting! My first time using it, it put it to the highest setting to get the was melted, then I turned to the lowest setting and waiting for about 30 min and the wax was still scorching hot and runny! I had to turn the pot completely off before it got to a temperature that was safe to use. I’ve only used it about 3 times and only on the lowest setting and the case has been the same every time. The last time I turned the pot off to let the wax cool. Once it thickened up, I waxed my underarms and the wax was still so hot it burned me. I don’t know if my pot has a malfunction or if it’s just this pot in general, but my previous was pot did not have these issues. Unfortunately by my first use, I was already outside of the return window. I decided to try to stick it out but getting burned was the last straw! It overheats the wax and it’s unsafe!

I have moved from SA to USA and was shocked at the prices of waxing treatment. So I decided to buy a wax pot. Now, i have been waxing for more than 30 years and I have watched the technique for a long time. However, give credit to this little pot. It was easy to unpack, switch on and within 20 mins I could start. No mess no fuss. I didn't not mess or spill a drop and I did not have the best space. However I managed. Extremely happy with my purchase. And very happy with all the money I'll be saving.
