I love this blanket. I do not suffer from anxiety but have trouble sleeping through the night. Since using this blanket I'm sleeping much better. If I do get up to use the facilities , I have no trouble falling back asleep . It's like a cocoon. I'm waiting to see if its too hot when the weather warms up since I am a hot sleeper, but so far it is the only blanket I need at night.

Don't know what I ever did without a weighted blanket. This is the second one I've bought from The Magic Blanket. Good quality, soft, and just enough weight for more blissful sleep.

First off I would just like to say that this blanket is awesome, and from my experience with other weighted blankets, it is the best of its kind. The blanket comes from the Magic Weighted Blanket company and is partnered with several professional sewing contractors to make their blankets. The materials used to produce the blanket are quite simple, but effective, the fabric is made of chenille (other blankets may come in other fabrics but I’ve found chenille is my favorite!) and the stitching is seamless, and the weight of the blanket comes from beads embedded in pockets of the stitching. I’ve found that the company itself is very reputable, earning the #1 spot on wiki.ezvid.com for weighted blankets and their customer service is impeccable from my experience when I originally had trouble with shipping. The company claims it was the first weighted blanket company and has now been running for 20 years so I had complete trust in their product before it arrived. I originally bought the blanket during the last winter because I had trouble sleeping and often suffered from anxiety when sleeping which the company claims it can help with. It also claims it can help kids with ASD, ADHD, SPD, and anxiety, and I’ve found through other peoples experiences that it can help adults with anxiety as well as those who suffer from PTSD. The feeling of being hugged without being squeezed is perfect for people who suffer from claustrophobia (my mother) and for people who don’t, like me. The packaging and design of the blanket and shipping itself were fairly simple, it came in a cardboard box and was wrapped in a plastic, for being so heavy I was surprised to see it fit in the box to be honest. The blanket itself is super sleek, surprisingly soft and is essentially just a thicker blanket. In terms of user-interface, the weighted blanket is just like any other blanket, just heavier but I became adjusted to the weight fairly quickly so I didn’t really find any negatives with the functionality of the product. Based on what the product claimed to do and how my experience turned out, I would say that the blanket did exactly what was expected, but from my experience it sometimes gets a little too warm but that is something I am willing to trade for a good night's sleep. Upon further research into Magic Weighted Blankets, I found that it actually is the best weighted blanket available, having being featured in Forbes and the overwhelming amount of positive reviews this blanket continues to get. Overall, I was very happy with my decision in purchasing this weighted blanket, I felt that from my experience and others that the product is in fact effective and in my opinion is well worth the money. 4.5/5

What an amazing blanket! It truly does hug you back. You can tell that the quality is excellent. The size of the blanket is more than enough as well. It's the perfect size! In fact, my mom, sister and I all fit under the magic blanket. My mom said, "we need more of these!". This is an awesome blanket and a staple in every family. I actually work with children that have special needs and bring this blanket sometimes to help them with sensory issues. My clients love this blanket and helps calm them down. Great product!

If you are considering buying this blanket - do it!! I've noticed in the past year my ADD has been getting worse which can cause me to be a bit more anxious. After reading that weighted blankets can help with both ADD and anxiety I knew I needed to give it a try! I have been using this blanket every night for over a month now and truly I haven't slept so well in years! It is so soft, looks very luxurious, and the perfect amount of weight. Highly recommend!!

I have been using this blanket for a little over two weeks now and I can't sleep without it. The weight of the blanket molds to your body and it comforts you in a way that makes you feel safe. I have anxiety and ADHD so this has helped mellow me out at night and made it easier to fall asleep. I sleep better through out then night and dont wake up as much. I would definitely recommend this blanket to anyone.
