Seawhite Octopus Sketchbook

Good size and quality. Just received it today and its perfect for what I need it for! Do however wish you didn't have to pay like 5 quid delivery for a basic delivery. Only small issue is that the first and large pages rub on the black cover and leave like a pencil type mark on the edge of the page

I'm such a big fan of these! I'm currently working through Nicolaides 'The Natural Way To Draw' exercises and these octopus pads are really great for practicing rambling gesture and contour drawing that spill over page edges. The paper's great for ink drawing, it's just rough enough for that satisfying scratchy texture :) If you've not used an octopus pad before I'd recommend trying it!

Really nice size and quite quirky how the pages unfold for the opportunity to do really wide continuous content if you wish.I bought this by accident, thinking it was the smaller concertina one, and I was happily surprised. The paper is good, quite substantial not fabulous but good enough to produce a nice travel journal.

Great weigh for painting an mixed media. The pages are a little big but not quite long enough for me but that’s personal choice. Apart from that great books good value

I love Seawhite products. They're top quality and a joy to work with. This octopus pad is a great format, perfect for mounting a series of drawings I made over Advent and Christmas. Since these are the first "proper" drawings I've made in all my 64 years, they deserve a top notch product in which to show them off, and this beautiful sketchbook book is just the ticket.

Just exactly what I have been looking for but haven't been able to find. I love the concertina style of the notebook and I will be buying another one now I know how good it is.

Such fun to use. A great idea for artists.

It's the 1st Seawhite product I have bought and it won't be the last.It's quality paper and I love the concertina arms.Loads better than I expected and great value/price.
