Bought this for my mum who is on medication which causes her to get hot and perspirate a lot. She was very sceptical at first but now she uses it all the time. It’s small enough to carry around with you in your bag but surprisingly big (without being bulky) it easily passes as a light neck scarf. You splash it with water and it makes it incredibly cool and does not re-heat like normal towels do. It remains cool and highly absorbant. She absolutely loves it and doesn’t leave the house without it. She said because it sits round your next where your veins are it cools down your whole body. I have now bought one for my dad who travels a lot to hot countries and will probably buy for myself (next time i’m a lucky enough to get away for a holiday!)

During the very hot summer we've had I wore it as a scarf, AFTER wetting it, squeezing it out then 'snapping' it as directed. It kept me cool, protected my neck from the sun as it has UV protection included, and kept me cool for at least 4 hours with an extra snap before needing to be moistened again. Comes in a handy pot that can be attached to a bag or rucksack.Oh, and it can be worn as a head covering as well, I simply found wearing it as a scarf convenient as I could get on with my work.Added May 2020. It makes an excellent makeshift mask as some sort of protection against Covid 19, stays tight against mouth and nose with the bonus of keeping you cool...

I actually use this as a support bandage for an abdominal injury. It's long enough (had to get the 120cm) to wrap my torso and then tie knots tightly.I actually have 3 or 4 of these and wear each one a full day, and in bed, so I can honestly say they are very comfy, and their cooling properties are well justified if you sweat.These were the more expensive on the scale of 8£ compared to others about 5, but the extra length and quality is really good.

I have developed hyperhydrosis ( excess sweating) due to the medication I am taking. I bought this cooling towel to see if it would bring any relief, and I have to say, it seems to work. It’s not any miracle cure, but I wrap it round my head when I feel an episode of sweating coming on, and it definitely does cool me down very quickly. I wish I had bought one ages ago. I should imagine it would be perfect to take to the gym, and I’m definitely taking mine with me on holiday to the sun. I didn’t use mine properly at first; you have to add a little cold water, wring it out, then flap it about a bit. It’s not ice- cold, even if you put it in the fridge, which you can do, but it’s certainly cool, and lasts for a couple of hours. The material is nice and soft ( better than the first one I bought from another seller, and almost half the price!), and dries quickly once you take it off. I wasn’t sure how to wash it, so I hand washed it, ( no fabric conditioner as this isn’t recommended for material like microfibre cloths etc, so I decided to avoid it), and it dried quickly with no issues. I bought the pink one, and with all this warm weather, it’s been a blessing, and looks quite nice when teamed with beachwear. I would say overall it’s been a worthwhile buy, and as long as you don’t expect it to be ice cold and last for hours, it should do the job . That’s why I’ve given this product 4 stars rather than 5.

I bought two of these for our summer holiday to Greece. I used them several times and they certainly were effective at keeping cool and helping with the heat. In the end I could have done with more as the other members of my party wanted to use them to cool down as well. They keep cool for a long time and were really effective. Easy to wash, would definitely recommend.

I was sceptical on this item but we took this to Tenerife last week and at 30 degree heat, a small amount of water and swing above my head (yes I looked an idiot on the beach) this towel did what it claimed and it stayed cool. For the cost it is brilliant great with kids too if they start to get too warm. Be careful washing though. It's not colour fast.

I love this. Wet it and fold it and put it in its container. Stays wet and cool, doesn't smell. Works a treat. I really suffered in the extreme heat this year and this was a godsend. Took it to bed too and during the sticky nights just placed it over me (I ordered a large one) and straight away it cooled me down. I can well recommend this product.

Not sure about this product, unfortunately in the hot weather we have just had it dries out super quick, ok if your near a constant source of water. Did keep me cool for a short while, but wonder if any wet cloth would!
