Rugby Zinc 50 mg 100 Count Capsules (Pack of 2)

I was diagnosed with vocal granulomas by my ENT and treated several times with steroid shots which were somewhat effective but did not resolve all of the multiple granulomas present. After a year of treatments my throat was improving slightly but still in a lot of constant pain. I found some literature on pubmed showing that vocal granulomas have been resolved with Zinc Sulfate 220mg taken 3 times per day.So I purchased this product and took 1 tablet 3 times per day for 1 month. I started to notice symptom relief within one to two weeks. Then after 1 full month passed I had an endoscopy done by my gastroenterologist and he noted that all granulomas where completely resolved. His exact words were that my throat looked "as smooth as a new born baby". See attached before and after images. The first image was taken during my first endoscopy on 2/21/2019 and the second image was taken after the Zinc Sulfate treatment on 7/15/2019.Some reviews state that it is misleading that there is only 50mg of Zinc when the front of the bottle says 220mg Zinc Sulfate. The dosage of this product is accurate. Folks, the entire pill makes up those 220mg. Zinc Sulfate is Zinc and Sulfate not just Zinc. Zinc and Sulfate work together to produce a specific effect on the body. Other forms of Zinc (ex. Zinc Carnosine) will have different physiological effects. No one would even want to take a 220mg dose of pure Zinc as that is extremely high. Furthermore, the studies used Zinc Sulfate at 220mg. So the dosage of 50mg of Zinc per tablet is correct. Taken 3 times per day comes out to 150mg of Zinc which is a very high but therapeutic dose.Note of caution that this high of a dose should not be continued long term as it will lower copper status in the body eventually leading to copper deficiency.Overall, the product is 5 stars. Great quality and very effective.

For the Zinc supplement I looked at the various manufacturers and was very happy to find Rubgy because I know them as a reliable with high quality, which gives me peace of mind. I am a retired nurse and quality and known manufacturers is important to me. I have order Zinc from Rubgy for close to a year now.

Good product for the price..

I bought this product because I'm working on boosting my immune system. It seems to be doing what I needed it to do. I haven't been sick and don't think I will be.

The price was right and glad to find on line as was not available in stores
