Love them for diving!
I'm a commercial diver. I've been using these boots for the last 5 months in different types of diving jobs, out in the sea, rivers, etc. They are great, comfortable, and have a nice, tight fit. They also have great boot soles, which make you feel secure and safe when walking at the bottom of the sea. I will keep using these as they also were very affordable for their quality and even compared to their counterpart in diving. If they are suitable for me underwater, I'm sure they will be perfect for whatever wet use you have them in mind for.

Lighweight wading shoes; almost perfect!
I ordered a men's size 7 and I'm usually a women's size 6.5. It fits perfectly and it's lightweight except the zipper won't close all the way to the top when I wear my waders because wader is made of thick neoprene material. It is okay with other lightweight material waders.

They run BIG!
I wear a size 10 in most all things footwear, but not here. Definitely not here, as these beautiful wading boots run a full size large (if not a bit larger) in my experience. No way to make them work, even if I wanted to add a waterproof insert sole and accompanied with a heavy wading sock, these are oversized and sloppy as 10s. Insert flyer says to call Frogg Toggs before returning, so that’s what I’ve done (after hours, left a message). Let’s hope they’ll be able to do the size swap for me. Otherwise, first impressions the boots are a value! Thick, durable cleated sole. The 5mm neoprene upper is soft, comfortable and the zipper is decent (although I have concerns how it’ll manage with some sand fit). The top rubber toe looks ready to deal with the stones and shell of a wet wade. I’ll come back and update once I resolve the issues of them being to large. Recommend, go a full size smaller for a proper fit.

Fell apart after one season
Fell apart after 1 season. It wasn't even a full season of use, maybe 10 outings in the fall. The zipper has issues and the stitching is just falling apart.

Great wading shoe except size on label is almost random . Find your size . Get these,.
The Frog Toggs Aransas 2 is an excellent wading shoe. First, it is easy to put on. One can wear a polyester sock or thin neoprene while wearing the shoe. The zipper closure is well built. The shoe has exceptional traction. Now, the Bad: the sizing of the shoe is purely random. I wear a 12. But, after returning a 12 which was actually about a 14, and an 11 that was no different , I wound up in a 10.5 which is still a bit big but I decided to add an insole and wear thicker water socks so they fit and are comfortable. If you wet wade to fish , these Frog Toggs wading shoes grip wet rocks, allow you to hike to the stream in comfort and safety and protect your ankle while giving extra ankle stability.Just prepare to use trial and error to get the right size.Update after multiple uses: I love these . So easy to put on and off. I use them to wade while flyfishing and the sole grips the bottom very well. The ankle support design works well. These are also great for hiking up and down slopes to the stream. For comfort, do add a sport, waterproof type insole which makes your feet happy at end of fishing. These are 5+ stars after you get the right size.Update:Used these for a season and boots are like new. Excellent wet wading boots for all type stream bottoms. Also, excellent for the hike down to the stream which can be much more difficult than the wading in the stream.I recommend putting a gel type insole for added comfort. Now 2 years later ...2023....I have used the boots for several seasons and they are still in great shape . The sole is in like new shape in spite of wading and walking on rocks during every fishing session. The grip on rocks continues to be outstanding . Great ankle support and boot shape are still there. These boots hold up.

Good wading boots for summer.
This boots are goodc comfortable to wear, but this product has a defect that the straps are put in the wrong sense, it goes behind, not in front, the zipper is exposed and uun protected, so when wading thro some places the zipper can go down, and the straps has a lack of adjustment. For the price it is a good product. The sole has a good grip in rocky bottom, I didn't use crampons to walk through a rocky river.

Great quality boots for surf fishing
Much better than expected. True to size. Lot of wiggle room, which is good when walking the soft beach sand. Good traction in the surf when fishing so the wave action doesn’t knock you down! Zipper closes very well and stays closed - Dunno what those negative reviews were about. Keeps my feet warm in the surf, paired with neoprene pants.

Light and comfortable for surf fishing
Easy to put on with stocking foot waders. Zipper has large teeth to slide easy even with some sand grit but you may need to rinse off as you unzip sometimes. These are so much lighter than my korkers boots and so much easier to secure to your waders. While korkers are definitely more sturdy for doing extreme wet jetty or fish standing on slimy rocks with studded kleets these FT boots are great for ocean beach surf wading and inshore areas. I don’t think you can add studs and with the neoprene it would not give the proper ankle stiffness to support climbing jetty’s. I really like these after cleanup as they dry much faster than korkers boots. The only things I would say there’s no surface to hook the rock guard onto to prevent it from riding up with water pressure. Also I worked around the unzipping as you walk, by looping Velcro around the entire ankle to hold the zipper in place. While not perfect the weight and comfort of these boots are enough for me to keep using them. I can walk miles in these easily.
