Sugar Free Chick-O-Stick: 5LBS

I am a type II diabetic and have had success keeping my weight and blood sugar down by stopping food intake at 6pm. (unless my sugar is below 100 at bedtime and I require a snack such as a few Extend crisps).. These semi-hard candies break apart easily when chewed, but can also be melted in the mouth. I take one to satisfy a hunger and sweet craving in the evening. The quantity sold is enormous, but they keep indefinitely.

I really like this candy, and I can't tell that it is sugar free. I repackage mine into small quantities and vac seal with my food saver, which works great. If you leave it out, it will draw moisture and become chewy. When I open a bag, it's still crunchy and fresh.

tastes good but work like a laxative, if you eat more than 4!

I am on a sugar restricted diet and these candies are just like the real thing. The texture of these when you bite into them is quite unlike anything I have eaten. Taste as goo as I remember as a kid. My first bag was a 2 pound bag and my second was 5 pounds. I'm hooked.

These little nuggets of joy taste just like their larger, sugary cousins. The 5 lbs bag fills a large popcorn tin commonly sold by kids of co-worker parents. These tasty treats have a special property, especially as they are not individually marked for resale and exclude the strong warning of the cumulative laxative effect the sugar substitute has on many people. The special joy comes from placing the 5 lbs bag on one's desk in an aforementioned popcorn tin and waiting until the parents who hawk their kids' popcorn come by to grab handful after handful of these nuggets. Before too long one can witness said parents scurrying by quicker than usual heading for the restroom with a mild-to-moderately-severe look of panic, barreling over anyone in their way and shouting obscenities at the cleaning staff who've chosen that moment to block off the restroom for cleaning. Trust me, folks, you'll want the cleaning crew to come back afterwards, anyway; just let them through. For the joy of eating a few to the unspeakable joy of passive-aggressive retribution on parents who sell their kids' fundraiser goods, there probably isn't a better office snack food available anywhere.

I thought these were the atkinson’s candies with Splenda, but they are not. These candies do not have nutritional values or ingredients printed on the packaging and causes diarrhea.

Quick shipping and a great product. Trying to reduce sugar intake but really like sweets. Good job on handling my sweet tooth. Have ordered this product twice. Its a little expensive but compared to having medical issues- it pays for itself
