Fits my sander snugly, I double checked my model number to make sure I got the right size connector.
This fits perfectly on my palm sander. The original part split at the part that is friction-fit to hold the sawdust receptacle on the sander, and I had been holding it together with duct tape. This is a big improvement for me. It holds enough sawdust so that I don't have to empty it very often, or you can connect a vacuum. Just make sure to double-check your sander model before ordering so you get the right size connector.

This item does fit the 421. If you aren't smarter than the plastic it is made of, don't order it. Only complaint is that the bag is smaller than I thought it would be. This might not be an issue. I was surprised to see the different size hoses that this will accept without the bag on.

I returned the correct part!!!!I’m definitely a dummy when it comes to this, I ended up taping a hose to the end of my brother’s Dewalt hand sander, and it pulled apartRight where the piece that I bought and returned fit so I’m having to order it again
