I would never ever buy this product again its such a rip off the meat is not lump at all minced meat to me it has no crab flavor at all dont waste your money on this product at all totally over priced never agaian

Flavor is somewhat sterile, but lumpy texture
Being a veteran Gulf Coast recreational crabber, I do miss the kind of "brackish water" taste of fresh caught and boiled crabs with this purchase. However, there is an obvious lump crab texture which goes well with the variety of crab dishes cooked by our family (au Gratin, West Indies salad, etoufee, patties, etc.). If you've never caught, boiled, and picked Crabmeat, this is really a bargain!

Know before you buy, doesn’t resemble crabmeat.
Not sure what this was, but it wasn’t even the basic special crabmeat. It was white, had a funny texture and no taste or small. It was almost tiny soft pellets of some kind. Couldn’t use as a fish filling either. Not even appropriate for a stuffing or soup. It was possibly the worst seafood product I’ve ever had.

It flavors a dish to have a hint of crab
It was a lot of specks no chunks of crab and it gets lost in anything you make especially with cream cheese. At least it’s real and not fake crab but it does not make something seafood heavy just a slight tint of taste of crab

Most economical way to buy canned crab
The lump are small lumps, but still good enough to put into a crab salad or just to eat out of the can as a good protein source. It does have paper to keep the meat from touching the metal can itself for flavor preservation.
