The bag is well padded to protect my devices. It's not heavy when my devices are in it.

I had real hope for this sling backpack after researching many... unfortunately, it fell real short during use. This sling backpack looks great and is a good size for laptop and some additional items, but that is where the positives end and the bad outweighs the good. The zipper is the worst... it opens all the time on its own, and due to the forward location of the zipper, it tends to dump contends easily... not a great combination. The strap slides to the longest position as you wear it, making the bag fall in the wrong part of the back and flopping around as you move. (It needs a plastic friction buckle.) The strap with snap on the inside (holds laptop in place... use it or it will fall out) is difficult to open (maybe velcro instead?). The anti-theft feature must be the pocket on the back, which is difficult to access and remove contents, and only holds something the size of a passport and NOTHING else! The internal pocket works fine and has a zipper closure but its placement can compromise the contents in the larger interior space. The overall balance of the bag is also an issue. The weight/balance distribution is similar to a backpack instead of a slingbag, which creates strain on one shoulder and always feels heavy on one side.
