Great and can be modified to fit other containers.
Nice solid funnel large enough to pour oil from a pan into it without spilling. It’s great that the threaded end can be changed! I modified it to fit a 3/4in Hedpack 5 gallon container and it works perfectly. With a PVC 1” to 3/4” adapter and a 3/4” nipple it is totally solid. I was able to fill the funnel to the top without any wobble or fear it might break. I even managed to force a garden hose filter into the bottom end which was difficult since I had to cut the lid to open the spout and then rethread that end to accept it, but it worked. I also ordered a couple extra lids so I have one to close it air tight and another in case I want to modify it differently. Overall it’s exactly what I needed.

Works perfectly
I can confirm this screws into small 5 gallon pail buckets.

It’s very useful and just placed the barrel under the downspout
I used it on my 55 gallon barrel to catch rainwater to water my vegetables garden and glued a window screen above the hole to catch all the debris that will fall in the barrel

nice big funnel
It's hard to find such a big funnel. These are nice, the size is good if you need a big funnel. The funnel held up well for our application. We caulked the top of it to a piece of plywood using some pretty tough glue. And when we needed to remove it later we could do that without damaging the funnel. The bottom of it is a separate pice, so there is the potential for leakage to happen in that location. We didn't have leak problems there, but you could caulk that joint if you wanted to be sure. Amazon sells the right parts to hook it up to a regular garden hose. I tried getting those from the hardware store, but they didn't have what I needed in one part, so I needed to buy multiple parts that altogether cost a lot more than the exactly-what-you-need-and-nothing-more part that Amazon sells.

Great quality large funnel
I had a main water line valve leak and used this funnel along with an adapter to connect it to a garden hose and it run straight to the sewer drain in my basement. The valve was leaking about a gallon of water every 10 minutes or so. Which meant I had to swap out a 5-gallon bucket every 45-50 minutes. Luckily, there's another valve that turns off all of the water, but when we were running water I needed to set timers on my phone and pay attention to the bucket. Now, I can leave this connected and running during the day until the special valve comes in. Hopefully in a couple of days. This funnel is of great quality. No smell (like someone else mentioned here). The thread didn't leak for me, though I'm not pushing a whole lot of water through it at once. If it had leaked, I would have just put some pipe dope or teflon tape on the threads. The separate adapter was perfect to attach the funnel to a garden hose. I drilled two small holes in the side of the funnel to string some wire and mount it to the plumbing. I would highly recommend this funnel.

What a great deal!
I am one of the most frugal people on the planet. So, when I saw the sale price on this funnel, I couldn't resist. Best of all it fits and it seems to be exactly what I needed to pour water into the blue barrel for my garden. I wish the company made other products, I would gladly buy them as well. The plastic is heavy duty and works for these blue barrels. From other reviews, I believe they work on metal 55 gallon drums also.

Bottom orifice is only 1" and Product is 2 piece.
I bought the drum funnel because I wanted a threaded large throat funnel. The funnel was ok. It is a cheap molding with several surface imperfections. The injection molding tool used to make the funnel is in pretty bad shape. There is a 3mm ridge inside the funnel for 360 degrees. I don't know why. The funnel orifice is about 1" despite the 2" NPT fitting. The funnel is an assembly of a simple PE funnel and a 2" to 1" NPT reducing coupling. A black plastic fitting is jammed into the bottom of a straight funnel to "give" it threads. It is just jammed in. It does not seal. Oil will leak in the tread root of the fitting that is jammed into the funnel bottom and drip outside the funnel. I wanted the 2" opening as shown in the drawing. I had to heat the funnel and thermoform the orifice to a 2" ID and schedule 40 2" pipe OD. I tossed the cheap plastic fitting out. I bought a new ABS 2" NPT to 2' socket adapter. ($2.00) and bonded the fitting to the modified funnel. I now have a quart PE funnel with a real 2" npt fitting for ~$14.00, but I had to rebuild it. ---added note---I bought a second funnel and modified it also.--- I consider this funnel kind of crappy as is. But I expected it to disappoint me. It served as adequate raw material for me to make a real 3 quart funnel with a 2" exit orifice with a 2" NPT fitting. OK, so it is 3 quart. It is a 2-piece assembly. The bottom orifice is 1" diameter The joint between the 2 pieces leaks by design.

Edit- it's a two piece design and came assembled. You just have to make sure it's tight, that's why it leaked on me before. I have updated my review to 5 stars. Fits a standard thread for an oil barrel. Great. Don't have to hold a funnel. BUT: Where the funnel connects to the threads there is a pin hole leak. Fine for a 10 dollar items but at 30+ I'm surprised this passes QC

This was used as a reservoir as it has a 1" thread on the bottom than lends itself to be used for other applications.
