I decided to give this solvent a try as part of complete replacement of my club set grips. I was a little skeptical of the spray bottle actually working, so was prepared to just pour the solvent out instead. However, trying this spray approach proved to be just the right way to do it! I was able to quickly spray up/down the tape, once installed onto the shaft quickly and found I used a LOT less solvent. Basically almost no loss at all using this approach. The solvent itself is excellent, providing a really slick tape surface that allowed me to slide on the new grips with no problems whatsoever. I complete a full set of replacements in about an hour, using this solvent in the spray bottle plus the Brampton grip tapes (another great solution for time-saving replacement!). Highly recommend both for any grip replacement you might want to do!

I've been building, reparing and regriping golf clubs for 40+ years and this is absolutely the BEST solvent I've ever used! While searching for solvent and tape for regriping some TaylorMade irons I recently ourchased, this solvent, along with grip tape, came up. After reading the reviews giving it much praise, I thought it would be worth a try. The Brampton tape was similar to other tapes I've used in the past, but this solvent was clearly different. Usually, I'd have to pour solvent into the grip, swirl it around and then pour over the taped club, wipe over the tape with excess solvent and then slip the grip on quickly. Often times the grip would get about half on and then I'd have to excert a lot of force to get it on completely. Not when using this solvent and tape combination! A few squirts of solvent inside the grip, a few squirts of solvent on the tape, position the grip and slide it on. Wow! So easy! I would definitely recommend this solvent and tape to anyone regriping clubs. Works very well, a little goes a long way and no strong odors like with mineral spirits or the citrus based solvents.

Spray bottle has no leakage and makes it even easier to apply solvent to grip tape and inside of grip using less solvent! The pump spray atomizes the solvent so that it coats evenly onto what you're spraying without wasting any of it. Makes cleaning shafts from old residue a breeze! Very versatile and would recommend!

First time I've tried a spray bottle. Loved spraying the underlying tape. It seemed harder to get enough spray inside the grip itself, but the grip still slid on easily. I just need to spray a bit more into the grip. Seems very efficient.

More than you will need for personal use, but if regripping as a professional great stuff. Work as its intended to.

Works as expected

A long time ago I used flammable liquids to do regripping work. I started using the HF-100 solvent several years ago and have gone through a few of these large bottles and won’t even think of using a different solvent for regripping. No odor, not flammable and inevitable spills dry clear. This is my go to solvent.
