Update: The scale still looks good with minimal cleaning. it EATS BATTERIES. Way more than my previous impedance scale. And you need an itty bitty screwdriver to open the battery compartment. REALLY BAD FEATURE: If your weight fluctuates it has a tizzy fit and stops working for awhile. When I first got this--my second impedance scale, the first having broken from wear and tear--I was thrilled with how beautiful it is. I had been worried about the clear glass looking smeary, but so far that hasn't happened. When I went to set up the profiles, however, I could not make this new scale work. I was following the instructions and the pictures, and was about to send it back as defective, when I figured out it was the manual which was defective, not the scale! Luckily, I found the small print where it directs one to a website with a video which made everything clear. It's easy to set up, after all. WATCH THE VIDEO. There is a purpose to the beautiful curves. It allows for the feet of many different sized people to use this same scale. The low profile adds to the beauty and makes it feel especially steady and secure.

After three times trying the company's products to have three defective items in returns I felt compelled to write that quality and performance are an issue when it come to the extra features other than measuring weight. None of the "buttons" do anything when touched do then occasionally get the menu that you can't access because none of the other "buttons" allow you to navigate. I tried three scales and ALL three had the same issues (one of them was giving the low battery indication as a "bonus" after changing the one that came with it with fresh ones....). I really wished it was working because they are really stylish and attractive, but it ends there,

Needed a new scale as the old one broke after many years. Was very happy with this brand as this was the same old one. Well this one is even better. If you need a new scale this is the one!

I came very close to returning this. It does not show BMI for women which is why I was interested in It. Led to believe it did. It also weighs about one -two pounds off. Don’t recommend it as a reliable scale

We purchased this exact scale a couple of years ago and just purchased this one for the guest bathroom. Great scale and easy to use.

Keine Ahnung wie man eine Waage produzieren kann, die gleich nach vier Seiten (vorne, hinten, links und rechts) abkippt (!!!), wenn man sich nicht genau mittig draufstellt. Das stelle ich mir besonders dann nicht lustig vor, wenn irgendwie Feuchtigkeit im Spiel sein sollte; ich hatte jedenfalls schon mit trockenen Füßen wh. Schrecksekunden. Es stellt sich definitiv "kein sicheres Standgefühl ein"!. Weiterhin ist das Batteriefach für die Knopfzellen auf der Rückseite noch zusätzlich durch 2 "Miniaturschrauben" gesichert, mit denen wohl Uhrmacher od. Leute aus der Mikroelektronik was anfangen könnte - winziger geht's nicht. Für einen Batteriewechsel sind eine Pinzette und ein sehr kleiner Uhrmacherschraubenzieher unverzichtbar, - also nichts für Normalsterbliche (od. gar Grobmotoriker...). So weit so schlecht, war es dann auch "nicht mehr wirklich" überraschend, dass auch die Diplay-Einstellungen - außer der Grundeinstellung/-anzeige auf Kg - nicht funktionierten. Der hierzu u. a. in der - übrigens auch nur in Englisch, Spanisch, Französisch gehaltenen - Bedienungsanleitung gegebene Hinweis "Press Enter" führte bei etwas verstärkten Versuchen die Enter-Taste zum Leben zu erwecken, nur zum erneutem Abkippen der Waage (diesmal nach vorn). Wahrscheinlich hat sich jemand bei der Hersteller-Fa. gedacht: "Hey, wir könnten doch mal die Praktikantinnen aus der Ing.- u. Design-Abteilung beauftragen zusammen 'ne Waage zu bauen, das stärkt den Teamgeist...!"...ja klar, und verärgert Kunden. 1 Stern für das schicke Design - funktional ist die Waage gleich mehrfach Schrott. - Klare Kaufwarnung - !
