Rio Beach Portable Total Sun Block UPF 50+ 8 ft. Beach Sports Umbrella and Canopy

Diagonally, this is a 7' - 5" umbrella, but it is only 6 feet wide from side to side. Don't get fooled by the product description...it's a bold lie.This is my 2nd Rio umbrella...I still have my first one and it's almost 5 years old, but I expected an 8 footer, and that's not what arrived today.Knock off with the lies...

If your looking for an umbrella for one person then this is for you. Wind out on the Beach was blowing about 15 mph today. The way this thing goes together I had to bungee it to the back of my truck to keep from chasing it down the beach. Not what I was looking for in an umbrella

This umbrella is not good at all in any type of wind/breeze on the beach. I was very disappointed this past weekend when we first used i t at the beach with the sturdiness it did not provide with the wind.

My dog loves it too. I've only been able to use it in my back yard for shade and comfort for my dog. And, it's wonderfully sturdy in dirt. When I get the chance to use it at a beach, I will let you know. But, so far, it's worth every penny!

Perfect for the beach, you can definitely feel the difference of the UV protection. Will probably order another!
