Nikon P-223 3-9x40 Mate BDC 600

Good scope for my Smith & Wesson M&P AR15 Sport II. The scope is good I recommend using the Nikon M223 single mount which is more sturdy. The two piece P223 mounts are for a smaller rifle like a 22long. My AR-15 has a high gas block. the scope does not have any problems with a high front gas block like on my Smith & Wesson M&P AR15 when you look through the sight you do not see the front mount. I was scared that this would be a problem but it is not there is no need to worry about gas block being in the way of your view. There is no need to use a riser for this scope for your mounts if you have a high gas block. See photos attach of my set up. Enjoy ABL from Miami Fl.

So good! This is my first scope after trying my buddy's P223 3x32. I'm glad I spent a little extra to get the 3-9x40! If you don't know what those measurements mean, 3-9x means the magnification is adjustable (unlike 3x32 which is fixed at 3x magnification). The 40 means the objective lens (closest to the barrel) is 40mm. Larger lenses let it more light and this thing is amazing. Originally, I thought I would just use flip up sights for my AR15, but this scope is incredible for the price.Note: I had to separately purchase the Nikon P-Series Picatinny Mount to put the scope on my rifle.

Used this scope for almost 3 years of moderate use when I noticed that the rear eye piece lens was loose and rattling slightly. Contacted Nikon customer support and arranged to have the scope returned for repair. It was covered under lifetime warranty and eventually Nikon sent me a new scope rather than repairing my old one. The whole process took about a month, which is in line with what I was told by customer support when I sent it in.

Rugged enough for any use. Dropped my rifle (sling keeper broke) and it maintained zero, that's about all you can ask for! Crystal clear glass, just enough magnification for short- to medium-range engagements without being too powerful to see close-in targets.

I like the scope, but I had a little trouble dialing it in. Probably my fault on that. The target is bright and seems to be well made. I had a little issue with the seller Mobile PC Deals, some back and forth emails over a poorly worded add about included accessories that were not defined or included. The seller said he would make it right, but they actually sent a new unopened scope when the advertised item was "open box" so I agreed to just keep the shipped scope. I did appreciate his phone call to explain the situation and would probably deal with them again.

Excellent value. Nikon quality, BDC and turret design. All for under $200. Clarity is outstanding with no aberration problem, eye relief is excellent as well. Only con is the reticle lines are a little thick for my taste - personal preference.

I would say after 5 rounds, the scope was zero right on the target. Easy to view, crystal clear looking at the target, when I get another rifle, going for the same set up, right now have this on 15-22 S&W. I have Leopold on my hunting rifle, love this scope better.Checkout my target using 22LR Ammo.

Hands down one of the best scopes, I've used ever! AR sighted in and super accurate at 200yds as that is as far as the range at my gun club will allow.
