Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron, 1 Gallon

My St. Augustine grass had developed yellow spots here and there. Nitrogen fertilizer did not help much. Besides, I did not want to add much Nitrogen to my grass to avoid excessive growth and potentially an increased risk of lawn disease later on. I had used other liquid-iron products before, which local garden stores stopped selling long ago for some reason. I found this product on Amazon and gave it a try. My liquid iron arrived promptly. I sprayed it at just a little higher concentration than what the product calls for. I set my hose sprayer to 4 tbps/gal. I used about three fourths of it watering my lawn and flower beds. In a matter of four days, my grass has turned into a beautiful, even dark green throughout. As I expected, this was an amazing and beautiful improvement to my lawn. Once again, I have the greenest, prettiest lawn in my area. Yes, it is a little pricey, but well worth the money. The grass hasn't taken off growing, either. It is a win-win. The manufacturer warns against this product severely staining sidewalks, but I was very careful to apply it only to my grass as much as possible. There was some overspray into my driveway and sidewalk, but I do not see any signs of iron stains at all. Once again, I have a beautiful, solidly green lawn thanks to this amazing product. Liquid Iron is the way to go for me. I will buy some more and reapply at a later date. STRONGLY recommended. August 31, 2017 My St. Augustine had turned yellow in several areas of my yard. A severe case of iron chlorosis. I knew that fertilizer would not fix this, no matter which kind. Once again, I applied this prized medicine to my lawn. TWO DAYS later, all the yellow St. Augustine is just gone! My lawn now has that beautiful dark green hue everywhere. I used my hose-end sprayer, set the dial to 1 oz. and sprayed away, always careful, of course, not to hit the sidewalk or walls. For it will stain them brown. not 5. 10 stars! Guaranteed results with St. Augustine, period.

You can't beat the price per oz. Excellent value. Super easy to mix in my backpack sprayer. Love the gallon size because it lasts so long. It does everything you think and then some. Will be buying more in the future! This stuff makes my yard so green.

Not sure if it worked or not. Not much change in the tree. Requires mixing and preparation.

Great iron product for bermuda. EZ to use. Make sure you don't spill or spray on concrete, will stain. Excellent results, deep green.

Darker lawn quick! Must buy!

For that past five years I have been trying to find out why my 25-year-old redwood trees were in decline. New growth would form but would quickly turn fiery red and the die back. I had already lost five of my 50 trees and was desperate for a solution (no pun intended.) I consulted specialists from the county and university and each told me something different. Too much water; too little water; unsuitable soil; wrong climate range, vascular pathogens. I suspected an iron deficiency and had applied an iron-chelate pelletized product to the soil root zone, but that didn't help. Then I found this product. My son and I used my pressure washer with a two-story spray nozzle and siphon mixing adapter to apply the iron chelate to the needles, limbs and trunk bark using a final concentration of 2 pints iron-chelate concentrate per 100 gallons of sprayed solution. Within a week more new growth than I had seen in years began to form from all parts of the trees (sprays, trunk and limbs). And the new growth didn't die back! I'm going to make a second application next week. It may be too early to be sure, but the outcome so far is very promising. I'll revisit this review next Spring to provide more information. In the mean time I'm going to apply micro-nutrients (zinc, boron, managanese, copper) as a foliar feed as well. I suspect that my alkaline water and soil (high pH) is tying up not only iron, but also these micro-nutrients. Signs of Iron Deficiency * Interveinal chlorosis of young foliage (veins remain green), but in severe cases, the leaf is white (void of chlorophyll) * Twig dieback * Stunted growth * Deficiency first appears in young growth * Deficiency is most common in alkaline soils and in soils high in phosphorus and calcium

I mixed the first batch as recommended. The instructions are sort of lacking to be honest. After getting no visible green up, I reapplied a month later with the heaviest mix recommend by the label, ph of the water was correct as well. I didn't see a difference at all. It may work for some, but did not for me. The value for your money is great if it works for you.

Got this for my grass and believe it works well as my grass has filled in nicely since using. Zoysia zone 8b.

Arrived as expected no leaks. Functionally Easy to use in my backpack sprayer and really darkens up my lawn. Value for the money is ok could be better however one jug lasts me two cool seasons on about 1000 sq ft.

Your grass will love you more then you love your grass!! i use this once a month and my grass is always so green.

If you follow instructions and then gage your own ratio with your environment and grass health. Your set and it can even be used as a weed killer!
