I have tasted this brand of French Honey many times and am quite happy with it. What I was dissatisfied with was the items contents spilled out into the shipping box and the second tin can shipped in a separate box but no honey was in box but an empty tin can. Amazon refunded these two items quickly. Again the brand of Honey is fabulous so will definitely purchase again. Fingers crossed no empty or spilled tins.

Can was leaking, 1/3 empty. Product tasted of metal. Yuck! Threw it away

Must have been around a while. Honey was cloudy and thickened. Still tastes good, but not worth the money.

Love this honey, but was disappointed that the container was not filled to the top. They do go by weight.

This honey is not going to be good with you if you think all honey is golden yellow and clear. If you have ever owned or knew someone that had bee hives and liked just plain raw honey then you should enjoy this honey. The can has something to be desired as mine was leaking a little when I got it as its sealed with a type of wax paper on top of the honey but the lid to the can has two bendable tabs to hold it in place and this is not a seal.

I wanted to give this honey as a gift, but the metal pail arrived dented, so I have to keep it for myself. The taste of the honey itself is reminiscent of the flavor one might have of honey straight from the hive, with a natural funk that takes a bit of getting used to if you've been raised on supermarket honey. I'm sure I will like it, however. The price is also too high for this item; just today I found it at a local gourmet grocery for 15.99. I won't be buying again, and certainly not from this vendor.

Buy this,if not for yourself than as a gift for someone truly deserving! It is absolutely delicious. Will not disappoint. It is unctuous. Does not compare to the liquidy stuff you buy @ supermarket or even at a farmer's market.This is gourmet honey for the discerning palate but my hubby likes it too :)

I gave the product as a gift, and have not had a report yet on the flavor. The package came and can much larger than I expected. Had a little dent in it. It would have been nice if there had been a card enclosed with the description of the product, since there are little words and only nutritional label in English on the tin. I copied off Amazon and included myself. But a pretty card would have made a better presentation.
