I replaced a professional fryer I've had for 15 yrs with this smaller one. I watched the video review and decided to try it. This thing is HORRIBLE!! I used it twice thinking the first time I didn't allow it to heat long enough. Even on high for 30+ min (which is ridiculous) it did not get hot enough to fry fries. They were mushy and greasy. I didn't expect professional but I do expect it to get hot enough to use! It doesn't matter how long it is on or how long the food is in it - it just does not get hot enough to cook anything. I unfortunately waited too long to return so I am out $40 with a lesson learned.If you want a huge POJ (piece of junk) then this fryer is for you.

I bought this and lived etverything about it....until of course i actually tried to use it....i put it on the highest temperature and left it alone amd waitied for the light to shut off as stated ib thet direction. I waited the stated 20 minutes and it never heated up. I waited over an hour and still light was on...then i figired maybe the setting just didnt mark the temperature, so i put. Some fries in anyway.....nothing happen...fries just sat there..raw and frozen...all the while the light was still on. Will not buy again..requested refund. DO NOT BUY!!!!!
