These things are the bomb they might not be quite as good as callard and bowser, except there actually better because they still make these if you want a replacement these work just fine they taste pretty identical from what I remember accounting for its probably been over 20 years since I had callard bowser toffee. Anyway I love these and I've tried few others like gustoff but these are closest by far

Genuine English Licorice Toffee by Walker’s!

It is so much better than the everyday licorice.

Seriously, if you're like me and appreciate the genuine flavor of licorice, then these are for you. I had tried several different licorice products off Amazon, and some were okay or even good. I found the Walkers Liquorice Toffee by accident in Ireland, and began ordering them from here when I returned. They're great, clearly fresh from the vendor. I now keep bags in my offices and backpack.

I love these when the are good. I've bought them a few times on Amazon. This time, when I went to buy again, Amazon linked me to another vendor. Sold by " The Photo Shop." Huh? These are totally stale. Like hard candies. A rip off. I'm guessing the photo shop is sketchy operation. Stay away from them. I'm annoyed at Amazon for conflating vendors.
