Love Prof Alice Roberts. Have a lot of her books and DVDs. This one is great as series 1 was. Well worth the money. Can watch it time and time again

Helpful History by Alice Roberts
Interesting, light-hearted and good information in all enjoyable fashion.There is the slight irritation with the "recaps" which would have come after advertising breaks but just seem silly when there are no advertising breaks . . . but overall these are really good strolls through history.

Documentary series relating to historical periods of Britain, each period related to a specific town. Well presented by Professor Alice Roberts.
