I purchased this as an addition to my bike chain lock, because it wanted the added length to include my front wheel on the same U lock. The other advantage is not having the added weight of another quality steel chain. It's fairly light-weight and easy to store. It's made of heavy duty moderately rigid cable with a thick vinyl coating. The loops and anchors look solid and well finished. Having done some research, I think it provides the same security as my metal chain, which are also not impervious to certain tools. Overall, I think it's a great quality cable that is weatherproof and will probably last a lifetime.

I normally don't buy cable locks as they can be cut by a cordless angle grinder easily, BUT...These are well made, a decent girth, and paired with the beefy disc locks will serve me well, as everywhere I go is safe, and has cameras.

Only use it inside the plant I work in but works great seems very durable. I can’t say if its good for outdoors though because i only use it indoors

I bought this to anchor my walker to the railing on the swimming pool at my apartment so It wouldn't roll away (pool walks are sloped away from the pool. It works fine but is quite a lot of overkill. The cable is thick enough that you could probably hang your car on it. Regular padlocks fit.

Damn good cable. Needed something additional to the 5/8" cable that I bought to give extra security to my utility trailer's spare tire. I figured that the more difficult it was for someone to steal the tire the better and allow me time to take care of the thief or thieves.

I have returned it because I didn't think it was that thick and solid. I have had one before and it was more solid but could probably do the job to secure front wheel adding a good u-lock
