When I say fit as expected - I expected it to be like trying to get into something that is a cross between a corset & a 5size too small scuba suit.... I expected that! So yes, it is a SUPER DUPER holy mother of all compression, manipulative shape, shape wear. Puts spanx & post surgical shape wear to shame.This is my second garment from vedette, the first one had a long line leg & no snaps up the front, I couldn't get it up my large thighs.... I also ordered that too small because I didn't actually measure & go along with their chart. This one I did & it's exactly what I wanted for - ever! Once I got this up over my legs & then butt... then snapped one clip at a time, as I tucked my skin in, took a minute, but I was super impressed with my figure! I (almost) looked like I did pre-pregnancy & C-section (baby is almost a year old now & I finally have the strength to get something like this on comfortably. Super small, defined midsection is what this will give you. A super tight hourglass shape. I'm impressed. Vedette got everything right that every other shape wear gets wrong, Except the gusset in the crotch instead of snaps.... They use hook & eye snaps & this item would be nearly perfect if it had just a overlapping gusset instead. Hint hint vedette!It is probably just me, I always have this problem being 6ft tall but small through the shoulders... Dresses often fit weird through the bust & I have to shorten straps often, but the adjustable straps on this are about 3 inches too long for me, should be a simple fix as I sew, but other than that - this garment is awesome... Super high compression, should help retrain my shape much like corset training.... Minus the boning.The only fail on this for me, as mentioned above, is there is not an open gusset like some bodysuit shapewear items. This has a bra closure adjustable hook & eye clip in the crotch, which I cannot re-hook once unhooked while I have it on. Bah!Also - huge bonus - once I have it on, even though such high compression, it is very comfortable to sit, bend etc.... Honestly it is easier because all the flab & loose skin after my pregnancy weight gain & c-section is pressed in, so it's easier to bend etc. So awesome! I will be getting used to this around home before I wear it out probably.Please make sure you go by the inches measurement on the size chart, NOT your dress size, I got a 3x & I have never worn a 3x, but according to the inches, that's what I needed. Also keep in mind this garment is VERY tight aroud the ribcage & waist.... Lower stomach also, yet no control on the butt area, just a little lift under the rear & snug little seam over the crack too so you have a defined derrière & it doesn't look like you're wearing a uni-cheek granny girdle. If you're wanting something less constricting, size up... Maybe even 2 sizes if you aren't used to very high compression or corsetry.Overall - if you are a high compression shapewear fiend - you should give this a try!

I ordered a XL i am 5'1 and weigh about 150-160. The bottom fit a tad big but not saggy, if i would had ordered a L i am afraid it be too tight at top. I really like it had the hinges at the crotch for easy access. I have worn others that just had access of a hole to urniated when needed thats it. I like that it had hinges at the shoulders, because the worse thing to realize after getting into a full shap girdle is that you changed your mind about the bra, and you have to unhinge everything.. this way with shoulder hinges you just unhinge that and change your bra. The shaper is def tight at the waist but its comfy enough to wear around 8 hours after that you may need a break. I really prefer a zip up shaper vs a hinge up the front, especially if i have long nails. But the hinges are big and sturdy it was easy to grip and clip on. Bottoms shapes my butt nicely, i can wear it with short mini skirts. I like the back is full coverage. And you can use your own bra is the best. I would give it a five but didnt because it didnt have front zipper for easier access and the hinges at the crotch can dig at times into the thigh.

My measurements are B37.5, W31, H 41.5 more or less. I'm 5'4" and weight 150. Based on the size chart, I ordered a LARGE NUDE. A MEDIUM would have been tighter but I feel I could take it. The L is tight but comfortable enough to wear all day long, as I work at an office and barely stand up. So for everyday use, the L is great. The fabric does not hurt my skin, and it definitely smooths a figure. Again, if you want it to tuck in some stuff and are more or less my size, I suggest you order an M. I love that it is high-rise at the back because it helps my posture- as I seat all day long basically- without feeling uncomfortable.I found that it is not so visible even with a tight white tank, except from the arms (and high-rise jeans).

Wife LOVED this. Fit was true to size according to chart on page. We're going to keep buying them. Great quality, looks great, easy to close up. I'm usually the one doing the "closing", so it was nice not having fingers hurting after helping her put it on.AND it has a snap by the "womanly area" so they can use the bathroom easily. I have NO IDEA why this isn't disclosed on the product description. Please add it!There are also 3 hook levels on the shoulder straps.Thank you Colombia!

Vedette is the best brand of girdles and/or corsets I have tried. This item arrived promptly and fit as I expected. This is the second of this kind of girdle I have ordered since my c-section. I ordered the medium the first time and then the extra small. I like this one because it did not hurt my incision. It was cheaper through this vendor than directly from the Vedette website.

This is a good product. My only issue is the hardware on the strap. The metal broke and the vendor put me through changes to replace it. The lining should go lower in the back and they should stitch it into the fabric all the way around.
