Wolf Tooth Components 25mm Long B-Screw for Adapting Old deraileurs When

I used this to replace the B limit screw on my Shimano derailleur after it was bent in a particularly muddy mountain bike race. It works perfectly!

If you want to thumb your nose at Shimano’s claimed largest sprocket size, get this. As long as your derailleur hanger has a large-enough flat for it to bear against, it will work fine for up to 40- or 42-tooth cogs. Some people turn it around, so the head of the screw meets the land to provide support.

Exactly what I needed for a 9 speed SLX derailleur to run a larger 40T granny gear. Nice Allen head with good threads and fit.

Look it's a screw it works perfectly the problem is they just throw the tiny screw in a large envelope and ship it one little hole in the package and goodbye screw and that's exactly what happened to the 1st shipment they sent me another with no questions askef but it took twice as long to get it

original b-screw with phillips head got mashed. this item allowed me to get my derailler to work with a cog three teeth over spec. the old one was all the way in and did not come out easily. cleaned the eyelet, put some oil in there and on the new threads. it went in easily and the hex head works much better.

I replaced a cheap stock B Screw that had bent when I had it set to maximum to fit a large cog. I spent probably 10x what this screw costs at a hardware store since it had the Wolf Tooth brand name attached to it, thinking it would be superior. But it bent like the crappy one Sensah provided. I’m now using a smaller toothed cassette, so the bend isn’t as big of a deal now, but I’m disappointed a $5 bolt bent during normal use.

This product work like a champ it got me to be able to adjust my Shimano deore rear derailleur so that it wasn't contacting the ultra-large range cassette gear ... I chose the 11:00 my 46 tooth sunrace 10 speed cassette to do a one by conversion.... And without the screw the derailleur would have hit the largest gear.... That's what all screw didn't seem like it but it's save the day must have for one by conversions with large rear cassettes

PRICEY, but a must have for pairing newer wide range cassettes wide older derailleurs. I just put a Sunrace 10 speed cassette (11-46) on my 2014 Jet-9 with a 2014 era SLX derailleur and this B-screw was the key to make it all work.
