Good value, non-adhesive dressings that are thicker for a little extra comfort
UPDATE 30/11/22I've just received another box of these dressings. There's an important change, which I need to make you aware of, in case it affects your decision to purchase:✳️THE DRESSINGS NO LONGER HAVE A FLUFFY SIDE - BOTH SIDES HAVE THE NON-ADHERENT COATING✳️They still appear to be approximately the same thickness.Another minor change is that the packaging is now easier to get into (you don't need to use my 'crisp packet method' anymore). You can just tear the packaging open without any effort - great for me, as I'm usually opening several dressings at a time.I'm still purchasing these dressings and would still highly recommend them, though I wish that I didn't need them.**************************************Original review:These dressings are supplied in individual sterile wrappers, packed in a thin cardboard box.One side of the dressings have the typical shiny coating, which prevents the dressing sticking to your damaged skin. The other side consists of a fluffy material, which should be absorbent, though I haven't tested this as I don't want my dressings to stick. You need to use tape/bandage to secure the dressings, as they do not have a self-adhesive border. I use a clear adhesive film or kinesiology tape, depending on the location. These dressings are thicker than other 10cm x 10cm dressings I've purchased through Amazon. These cushion my sore, damaged skin more effectively, which is very important to me, given the location of my damaged skin.As I have the shiny, non-adherent side against my skin, these dressings are easy and painless to remove. The 100 pack is the best value, especially if you use a lot of dressings, as I do (I'm using them joined together - cheaper than buying a 15cm dressing).Large dressings are very expensive to purchase on the high street and I haven't seen large boxes for sale.I would recommend this product and I'll be buying more when my current box is running out.My sympathies if you need these dressings - I hope that they make a difficult problem less painful.✳️Update -3/1/22 (original review posted 10/11/20)✳️I'm still using these dressings and have bought more boxes since the original review was posted. I haven't bought any other brand of large dressings.I would still highly recommend them - they have maintained a consistent quality and a great price. These patches have helped me protect my skin.I WOULDN'T BE WITHOUT THEM.✳️TIP✳️I thought that I'd mention something that might not have occurred to others:Don't mess around trying to peel the dressing open from a corner, just open the packet like you would pull open a packet of crisps. This method only takes a few seconds. If you use a lot of dressings, this tip will speed things up and reduce frustration

Made with a shiny side for placing over the wound and a cotton padded side to give protection.I tried another brand and the cotton padded side fell to pieces after a couple of hours but these held together. The shiny side will stick to the wound but is a lot easier to remove with a little water and gentle pealing. Other makes needed soaking with water before removal.

Amazing value.Totally none adherent and absorbent
Love these Iv tried 2other value brands on Amazon (after buying top brand for years from chemist) the other value brands I bought were ok but weren’t too absorbent. These are the cheapest of value brands but I thought I’d try thinking can double up or use on top of one of other dressing to improve absorbency if they stick to wound.Well I was been a price snob these are amazing Do NOT stick to wound at all and lot thicker than other value brands and much more absorbent.I was pay £1 a dressing in chemist these cost me less than £15 for 100 amazing value when you think dressing is so good.Im VERY happy and will be stocking up.Edit 2yrs later I’m still buy these. They have shiny and cotton side, you place shiny side on wound and I’ve never had it stick to wound yet. They are absorbent but if have heavily exuding wound I recommend placing gauze pieces over top as I do.They aren’t adhesive so will need tape or bandage to hold in place.I have condition on lower legs where skin splits and these work great.

Nice dressing
Purchased as ran out of dressing after mastectomy, dressing wasn’t quite large enough for my wound area but finding dressing large enough was impossible on amazon anyway. I cut 2nd dressing in half so wasn’t a big deal.Dressing does not stick so you do need micropore to hold it in place, it’s got a silky side so fibre from dressing does not get left behind on your wound area

Perfect for my needs
Exactly what I was looking for. They certainly don't stick so they are easy to remove. Hopefully 1 box will be enough for my needs but if I need more I will buy these.
