The Next Stage of Human Evolution
My own kundalini awakening was quite different from Monique's experience, although the end result of self-realization or unity with the divine was the same. For me, the entire process lasted less than 20 seconds. I was practicing one of the yoga poses that I had learned from Yogi Bhajan when a ball of energy rose up my spine to the top of my head. At that point, I was completely immersed in white light. I did not "see" the light, there was no sensory perception or ego awareness, only light. It was an event and not an experience. When I returned to my ego awareness, I realized that my consciousness was irrevocably transformed. I have since learned that for the vast majority of those experiencing the rising of kundalini, it is a process, sometimes lasting for years. Monique's account gives hope and guidance for those currently experiencing the effects of a kundalini arising.

Let your heart soar
Yes. That is that short answer. Yes, buy the book. I have never written a review of a book. I read on many levels at once. Grammatically, flow of verbosity (it should sing in its own cadence), content, truths biased against my own preconception, and what I call for lack of another term....soulful listening. Monique goes the distance on all marks. She is a VERY engaging story teller. It must have been difficult to espouse her life and personal torments to the world. But we see in her endeavors the triumphs we all can feel over our own. Her ability to verbalise that which has no words is trully masterful. I am quite impressed. And impressed on 2 levels. Intellectually it is evident she is an extremely high IQ. But spiritually....I sense her...I feel the Love in her heart she feels for everything and feel her earnest desire to pass it on. It took me my 60 years to find many of these truths through untold hours of ponder and wonder. I would like to say she could have saved me much of this had I read her book at an early age. But it is through my own experience that I can recognize hers, like two tuning forks ringing in harmony. We all experience Life through our own experience and bias and in our own time. Now this sounds like I am saying you do not need this book. But not so. When we read....on all levels....we experience and learn. I recommend putting your bias away. Do not read it as if to refute a part against what you currently know. Read it with openess and wonder and let her words become your own. She IS right....in all she says, I see no flaws. Read "her" with an open heart and you will see (quite literally). May your journey be a Blessed one. And may you live to be an inspiration to those around you as she does.Kent------------

exposé of a beautiful soul
This book is a riveting account of the author's extraordinary life's path to spiritual enlightenment, love and self-realization. Once you start reading, you will hate to put it down and will look forward to your future read. Her path was not conventional. It was a culmination of her experiences and insights that led to this soulful expression. In fact it was a diametrically opposite path from the one I experienced, educated and indoctrinated by Catholic nuns and Jesuit priests, plus a life-death-life experience. The small number of us who have survived a similar experience claim "we saw the light".Millions of people should read the book because the author's story is inspirational, spending the early years of her life with her family of artists/actors in Europe and later moving to the United States where she struggled and eventually prospered and succeeded as an artist. She has written her book with a style that firmly holds the readers' attention. Her humor, honor and humility entertains the reader and raises the question for some, how was she able to separate her heart and soul from her ego, spilling her intimate guts to the world, including a struggle with thoughts of suicide? This book should be read regardless of your prior spiritual beliefs because everyone will come away with an elevated sense of self-realization. Some will have a new or restored vision of life. I strongly recommend this read..

Written with quite some suspense and beautiful visions.
I've read about the chakra system and had friends from the past who practiced kundalini yoga, but never got close to what was happening there. So, it was very exciting, reading Transcendence Calling, from the perspective of a kundalini awakening. What was brought on by unusual life and family circumstances led up to that moment, being unprepared in a bath tub. Written with quite some suspense and beautiful visions. I feel Monique is gifted in receiving a kundalini awakening and in describing her life and spiritual practice.

Creative Process
I found the story and the information in this book both mesmerizing and uplifting. The author bravely shares her personal history and the events leading to the Kundalini Rising. Born into a creative family Monique developed independence and a curious mind from a very young age. Growing up she was drawn into the arts including drawing, painting, theater, music, and dance. Her intellectual curiosity and study led to questions about the nature of life. By opening her heart and mind she may have prepared unconsciously for the spontaneous experience and revelation.Rebelle writes in a clear and concise way that I enjoyed. Reading the book prompted me to learn more about the artists and thinkers who inspired the author’s creative process. This included viewing Rebelle’s own paintings on her website. Through Monique’s descriptions, I gained valuable insight into the creative process as it applies to a variety of art forms. The book has also influenced me to learn more about other enlightened ones who have experienced and shared their Kundalini rising.I found the work to be an invitation to spiritual observation in my busy, linear driven life, and I am grateful. I believe every reader will connect with “glimpses” of awakening, and perhaps be inspired to have their soul set free.

Everybody could have the same experience
I enjoyed this book very much, and also learned a lot. As I have been brought up as an eastern human being, it might be much easier to understand what this book is talking about than the people in western countries.Plus I have had a few very similar experiences as this book describe. So it was not a too much surprise, but a sympathy I felt when I was reading.Thank you very much for the great book.
