Love this little camera. By far the most easiest and clearest carema i have used. I used this in the play room and it showed a large area. Works great to keep up with the kids without having to run to the basement to check on them while they are in the play area. Pleasantly surprised with this product.

This is really buggy. I bought this so I could set it up in my room while I'm at work, and know if a roommate snoops inside my room. But I can't even get this to properly connect. It works locally, but what's the point in that? When connecting to this app, you need to use your wifi on your phone to connect to this hotspot, which does not allow you to use real wifi. Also, this does not let me register my email, it keeps saying I need a valid email, perhaps one with a Chinese domain? This is obviously a product catered for Chinese citizens.

This is one of three cameras I purchased to test. I drive Uber part-time and deal with drunk college kids every week. After a few incidents I felt the need to have the entirety of the inside of my vehicle recorded in the even of damage, theft, or false accusations that could effect my fulltime job (it does happen)Initially setting up this camera to the app was painless. It connected right away and was working as it should. After turning it off however, I was not able to get it to reconnect to the app again, so if you are going to use it... charge it, connect it, put it where you want and leave it alone! Dont even breath in its general direction, and you should be ok... maybe.The picture quality was "ok" it wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either.The night IR night vision worked as advertised, although the automatic changing from the regular camera to the IR is a little lagging. You're able to adjust the brightness of the IR illuminators, which I liked a lot.My application of this camera was going to be in my vehicle, recording to a SD card. I was not able to get the camera to start recording to the SD at all. I formatted and followed the steps in the instructions as they were written, but I couldn't get it to start recording to the card at all.I cant use it, so its going back.

Update:First time I tired with actually trailerIt failed to connect because rv’s metal surface blocks the signal. Where ever I put it on I did not hold the signal from my vehicle to camera.I wished it had work but did not.********I just got this yesterday.It is great that it has good picture quality and has its own hot spot which you can use without home WiFi.I am actually planning to use this as hitch and trailer back up camera.I needed magnetic base because I wanted to be able to move from my hitch to back of the trailer depending on what I need.There is a magnetic base but only one side. Not both. Other side is sticky. I used sticky part to attach to camera and use magnetic side for mounting on the bumper or back of trailer which works. Range seems to be good that within my house I have good signal without much lag at least for 50 feet which is impressive.I have not tried with RV yet and when I do I’ll update my review.Magnet is not too strong but enough to park rv and attached to hitch. You can’t travel with this as it would drop at bumps. This is a spy camera so that not how it is designed for but rather paying $165 this is a good alternative.Four improvement can be made1. Magnet can be a little stronger.2. Both side of the base can be magnetic no no need to worry about sticking. Sticky base makes it less mobile.3. hotspot is a regular WiFi. So when you are connected to it you can’t access internet on your phone. My Dashcam has also WiFi but it does not block LTE. If you are using for a short time when you are not around your home WiFi it maybe ok.4. You can’t turn off camera from app. You will have to always hit the power button on the camera. If you put this in your house and when you want to stop recording when you home it may be an inconvenience.Other than these three improvements the camera is really great.For the price I am happy.

I have used these cameras for several years in my security vehicles patrol cars and was a little bummed when I saw that they were unavailable with no known return date. The new release cameras offer an entirely software and a web interface that is super easy to use. Very happy with these cameras.

The cam comes with different operating app if you buy at different time. I brought one in late 2019 and need another one so purchased again. but the new one does not match the operating app as the first one. I have to switch two different apps during usage... So, returned.

I want to love this so bad but ...the battery only lasts 30 mins after hours of charging, nowhere does it tell you what kind of memory card you need, cloud storage is not what you think, you have to buy storage from the company and it’s pricing is in a foreign language, camera sensor is so sensitive it notifies me every time a car passes (8ft away).Good things:Picture quality surprisingly good.Small and easy to move aroundI didn’t have much of an issue with connectivity

This camera has been nice to have at home, I like that it’s small and not very noticeable. I put it in my bedroom because I like to keep an eye on people that come over especially if there are people you don’t fully trust.
