I'm always looking for affordable yet delicious jerky. Some of my favorites cost 2-3 times as much as this, yet this stuff comes pretty close. It's soft, but not soggy. Chewy, but don't feel like a jaw work out. On the dryer side, but not "cowboy" style dry.The spice level is perfect. Not over baring but enough to break a sweat. I'd say, even though it says Carolina reaper pepper powder, the spicy levels feel about a habinero level.I didn't get any bitter flavor another reviewer said, just smoky heat. Will definitely order more.

Very good beef jerky, absolutely love the heat. Saw a review that said it was to spicy. Well don’t order something that says “flaming hot” if your a wus. Containing Carolina reaper pepper. It says in the ingredients. Very yummy.

I love spicy things. Thai food and indian food are delicious and I like those dishes fully hot. But I don't just like hot for heat, I want flavor too!Having said that. This jerky is beyond spicy. I think "flaming hot" isn't close enough to describe the product. "Flaming Hot" Cheetos are nothing, but this jerky was killing me after a few pieces. Then I realized why after reading the ingredients "Carolina Reaper Powder" which explains a lot. Oh, and it's going to burn a hole through your stomach and the 2nd burn is going to be quiet unpleasant. Thank goodness I have a bidet.I think if that was the end of it I'd be OK with the spicy jerky. I can take the heat, even though it's brutal. But with almost all hot peppers beyond Habaneros they all have an extremely bitter taste that you need to address if you're cooking with it. Unfortunately they did not address the bitter taste with the flavoring on this jerky so it wasn't good, but with your mouth on fire from Carolina Reaper Powder you won't be tasting much after the first bite or two anyways. It's just hot and gross.The meat is a little bit moist, but not too much. My problem with the meat is that I had a lot of fatty pieces and the fat wasn't very nice since it was still too moist, it was very chewy in a bad way. Also a lot of pieces had tendon and gristle. The cuts of meat hadn't been cleaned very well and seemed low quality.I just can't recommend this.

It’s really good jerky. The only problem I have with it is it’s way too salty. When you take the first bite you get Kayden everything it’s good doing go to the second. It is coming out like salt love the texture. I’m going to try another flavor.

this is wayyy too spicy, I read flaming hot on the front but i didn’t know flaming hot would contain carolina reaper spice.

Delicious fresh moist taste good goodbye again

I've been hooked on this jerky. The 'Flaming Hot' is my go to. But the last two bags i've received have been awful. Actually disgusting. The reason these 2 bags have offended me so, is that they have been crunchy and brittle. The meat did not taste right and the texture of brittle crunchy jerky is horrendous.. Prior to these 2 horrible bags, i've had many other bags that were all consistent in quality and the quality was among the best i've had. So i was very disappointed with the first bag, and decided to order another one assuming this was just a fluke. But, the next bag was the exact same. I don't know what happened but if i do work up the nerve to try once more, i really hope the quality is what i had come to expect from them.
