Typical outstanding Starrett quality
Upon receiving this 6 inch scale I carefully inspected it for flaws of which I found none. The only reason I had my old one replaced with this new one is that the scale markings had worn down on the old one to the point of being unserviceable after over twenty years of daily use.

Very nice 6" rule
A high-quality Starrett rule. I was surprised that it is narrower than my older 6" Starrett rule or their 12". The square head still fits on it, though. That said, the narrower width makes it easier to uses one-handed.

Excellent satin chrome finish.
Engraving is very clear, and satin chrome finish makes it very easy to read in any light.

Bend it where you need to and then it flattens right back out to draw a straight line with. Great tool
