This is a good quality cable, robust but still flexible. I’ve used it to charge a Lenovo Yoga 920 and a ThinkPad T470, measured both at 19.7v / 2.1a using a USB C power meter. These charge levels are close to the limit of the 45w USB C PD power supply I’m using. It’s also nice that the cable can be positioned in both directions without the need to reverse the USB C adapter, unlike some other 4.3a magnetic USB C cables I’ve tried.

Having been using this cable with the magnetic connection daily for over a month, I am finding it a good replacement for the mag-safe connector that I had on my previous apple laptop.The magnet is not quite as strong as the apple one, however with a little care it is no problem. stays on, stays connected — and with the lifetime guarantee, I guess that there will not be any problems in the future either.Definitely recommend this.Having now used this for much longer with no problems, I have bought a second cable so I have one for home and one for travelling.

Update: after a few months I've now stopped using this cable. The weak magnetism means that the cable is constantly losing connection during normal use. I'm afraid I can no longer recommend. 2 stars as I guess it would still be useful if you have your laptop on a desk and never move it around when connected.The cable appears to be well made, and comes with a convenient quick release rubber cable tie attached. A small plastic release tool is provided for the component that normally stays inserted in the USB-C socket, although in my case I found it straightforward to pull this out without the tool anyway.My only issue is that the magnetic grip is a little weak against the cable twisting along the length of the plug. It's very easy for the cable to fall out of alignment by itself, and when this happens it also tends to catch in a position with no electrical contact. As there's no indicator on the cable then it's not obvious when this happens, and you end up with the device unexpectedly not having charged.Still, otherwise the cable works as advertised, doing the job of avoiding the cable pulling the device onto the floor.

Was really pleased when i received this as I thought it was exactly what I was needingUnfortunately, it become very intermittent and a few months and now barely worksIt just doesn't make electrical connection anymore, I can't see anything wrong with it physically. it just doesn't work

this is a nice and long cable. Perhaps the magnetic part is not quite strong enough, very easily falls off just moving the phone. The thing that is a niggle is the part which stays in the phone for the lead to magnetically attach to sticks out 4mm. With my phone case is not a problem. But without a case way to bulky. Other than that does what it says

I had looked for many magnetic charging wires for my 2017 MacBook Pro that works similar to the magsafe. I was not sure if this product would be as good. I can say after 1 month of occasional use is that it works well. The magnet is fairly strong and stays on all time while the I am working. I usually put the laptop on my lap when i use it, so the wire is connected with some movements on the laptop. No issue at all. The magnet saved me at some times and disconnected as desired.The good thing with this particular magnet is that it is not a uni-direction, you can attach the head on whichever direction; it will always magnet.The wire itself is not of the highest quality. I have seen better. But it is not cheap too. It is good.It is fast charging too. It compares well to the original Apple wire.So far I am satisfied. I hope it continues like this!I will post an update if anything arises.

Great quality cable and perfect length for use with a laptop allowing for plenty of freedom. The connectors feel strong and durable and also comes with a lifetime warranty. Would order again

Door de zwakke magneet gaat de aansluiting gemakkelijk los en ook het aansluiten gaat niet zo vanzelf als bij vergelijkbare kabels van andere aanbieders. De laadfunctie werk -indien goed aangesloten- wel zoals beschreven. Ik heb de kabel teruggestuurd en een ander merk gekocht.

Funktioniert auch noch nach einem Jahr!

Por ahora todo perfecto. El conector entra muy justo en un MacBook air 2018, pero encaja, y prefiero que sea así para que no se pierda.Con el tiempo veremos si resiste.

Materiali di buona fattura, utile l'aggancio a 90 gradi. Peccato però che il magnete è troppo debole si stacca anche solo sollevando il portatile da una scrivani. Pertanto inutile.
