L'Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Silkissime Eyeliner, Black, 0.03 oz. (Packaging May Vary)

Love this eyeliner! This is just the right color green with hints of gold in it. The liner goes on smoothly and precisely and lasts all day, with no smudging.I wear contacts and have experienced no irritation from this product. It is a little tricky to sharpen the pencil, but this may be due to my particular sharpener... the point does not become extremely sharp. I actually prefer the rounder point as the effect is softer, less severe. I expect this pencil to last a good while. When it's too small to use effectively I will look to repurchase!

The pencil I received had no product inside. It was a hollow pencil as far as I could see. After I got a refund frOm amazon (sold by third party with no returns) I decided to sharpen the pencil and see what was in there.I sharpened off about a centimeter and the tip of the liner showed through. It was dried out and thin. It would not write even with too much pressure. I have now taken out the liner from the pencil, chopped it up, and put it in a tiny bit of almond oil to see if I can soften it. The color looks great, I just wish I could wear it without MacGuyvering it.

****Update 11/30/19****I love the color, but the product itself is so dry that it breaks pretty much every time I try to use it. I’ve had to sharpen it way to often in my opinion. I have a Rimmel London eyeliner that is the same type of eyeliner and I have used it for at least a year. I actually had to open the 2nd rose gold eyeliner I purchased to see if it was a better consistency, but it was dry too. I’ll probably have to throw it away because if the point keeps breaking off whenever I try to use it then that’s not worth the hassle.******************************I love this color. It’s a rose gold/champagne shimmery color. It’s a smooth and creamy texture, which I like for eye liners I want to use on the inner corners of my eyes and waterline.You do have to sharpen it manually (it is not automatic). Helpful hint: Do NOT try to use a pencil sharpener. Use a dual sized eye pencil sharpener. I bought a cheap Wet N Wild one from the grocery store for $1 or something. The dollar store might have something too.My only negative really is that both times I’ve tried to use this eyeliner on my lower waterlines, I have had issues with it irritating (causing my contacts & therefore my vision to get cloudy) my contacts/eyes. I have a silver Rimmel eyeliner that’s basically the same style and I’ve never had a problem using that one on my waterlines. No issues with wearing it on the inner corners of my eye, on my upper eyelid lash line, or under my lower lash line though. I will probably try one more time to use this on my waterline without other make-up on to see if I can the same issue with my contacts.I ordered two of these and one of them came in the package less sharpened / pointed, which I thought was weird. The package had not been opened though, so I think I just got a reject one. LOLOverall, I am happy the color is actually how it is described and looks on the listing.

This is the best eyeliner I have ever used. It's easy to apply and I've always had a horrible time applying eyeliner. I agree that it's not the easiest to remove but I am so happy it lasts through the day and still looks good at night. I've never experienced that before. Wish I found something like this years ago. I ordered it in black but I am also going to get one in brown.

Package arrived quickly but I am less than impressed with the product. It seems to require sharpening after every usage so it surely will not last long and there's a gap between the product itself and the material you sharpen so the product will most likely break. I give it 3 stars because I like the color of the product and it seems to last long.

I purchased one of these items a few months ago and liked it !. Very smooth and easy to apply around eyes without tugging and pressure. Because of that purchase, I decided to buy a second liner. The second liner was harder than an 'number 2' pencil and is unusable. in an attempt to get the product to 'work', i tried using it, as I would a pen, and tried to write my name on a piece of paper.. nothing.. The interior product ended up crumbling within the pencil and most of it fell out.
