Had some thicker square whiskey bottles that I was struggling to cut. Had been trying lots of different methods and really couldn't find anything that was working. Still use my Dremel tool with diamond cutting attachment, but use this to cut outline of where I want to cut on the bottle. Does take a little patience and reading directions to set up. Once you get the hang of how to work the bottle, it is great! If for whatever reason this one broke, I would totally buy it again.

Works great for certain bottle sizes. Unfortunately it is very limited with the length, whole diameter, and top opening diameter. I have many common bottles that will not fit on this. Ultimately if you're cutting a variety of sizes, you're going to need to make your own mount.

The cutter is hard to use per the instructions. Spent lots of time on utube trying to figure it out still have not cut square bottle

I broke a couple of jars out the gate. But that was a matter of getting the feel for it. I like the stability it provides. Also it is very easy to adjust to the size of jar or bottle you are working with. Definitely worth the money.

This bottle cutter is a piece of junk.Box arrived crushed and torn. Instruction were written by someone that doesn't know how to write instructions in the English language.The whole cutter is made out of flimsy metal. The rollers are cheap and are not mounted straight. The sliding mounts will not slide in the groove cut in the bottom platform bracket. This is due to groove not being cut wide enough to allow for the powder coating of the pieces. Adjustments are difficult to make because of the small spaces and the allen wrench supplied for the purpose. You cannot make precise adjustments. The blade cannot be adjusted at the proper angles because it will rotate when it is tighten down. This cutter is not easy to use. It will not cut the bottom of mason jars for crafts. Takes too long to make adjustments.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS CUTTER.I RETURNED MINE TO AMAZON.

The packaging is fine and the instructions are clear and well written. The device itself is well made of good quality materials. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

It has a lot of features, but is hard to adjust (hard to square, hard to repeat same cut at different times). The neck needs reinforcement, as it bows during use. The bottle-centering cork should be larger/more cone-shape (it slips inside wine bottles). Because of all this, it is really best-suited for thin-wall glass and one-off cuts.
