Great radio!
Unless the item arrived physically broken... there should not be any complaints whatsoever on this radio. Even if someone didn't get a manual or had a misprint in the manual. For the price, and for the amount we all paid for it, it should not get anything less than 5 stars. If there is no mention of a function within the menu, it should still get 5 stars as its meant to be an economy radio with the focus on that... an economical and fully functional radio. If this were a Futaba 6ch radio, then yes, i'll complain about even the smallest details... misprints, misspelled words etc. Great radio! It is plastic, but in not cheap plastic... at all. Very solid, well built, knobs and buttons are solid as well. It does take AA batteries, so I'm already looking into refitting it for lipo. I'm happy.

Worth the money, would buy over DX6i any day!
Great controller especially if your on a budget. You can mod the firmware for customizing it for hardcore quadcopters. The joysticks are made up of very quality aluminum. Very responsive. I have used with an arduino and it worked awesome. Switches are quality. pots are quality. The only annoying thing is the beep when your going through the menu, or low battery alarm. But you can easily change the parameters of the low battery alarm. I actually removed the buzzer as the battery voltage is displayed on the screen. so for my projects i woulding need it. Well worth the money! I would buy another one if i needed to. EXACTLY like the DX6i. same distance. If this review was helpful Please click the button!

Great for the beginner hobbyist
Great bang for the buck. For $50 this radio is jam packed with features and channels. Lots of receiver options are nice for various applications. Would really recommend getting an upgraded receiver (FS-iA6B is great) for use in a race quad. The receiver it comes with (FS-iA6) does not support ibus functionality, so you are forced to run the wires for each channel as well as power/ground. For those new in the hobby, ibus and sbus allow the receiver to talk to the flight controller with only 3 wires. Signal, power and ground. Makes builds much cleaner and easier to wire. Got 2 FS-A8S receivers for my micro quads and an FS-iA6B for my race quad.

Cost Effective and Great Performance. Would Buy Again
A cost effective and overall great product. The transmitter feels a little cheap, but its performance works just as advertised. I didn't have a problem binding the transmitter to the included receiver. Setting up the transmitter is also a breeze and there are ton of YouTube videos out there that will talk you step by step through the set up process. What I like about the transmitter is that if you do not have all of the control sticks and switches in the "neutral" position, it will sound a loud alarm prompting you to return the features to neutral. That can save your RC platform! Another thing I like is how the transmitter is incredibly lightweight. Carrying around a ton of gear can get very tiring, but when you have this transmitter in your kit, you can barely tell. It also keeps you from getting fatigued by holding it for long periods of time. If you want to add a lanyard to help support the weight, there is a convenient mount at the center of the controller awaiting a lanyard of your choosing. Overall, I say this product is a good buy. It's simple and relatively cheap (compared to other models), but performs great!

Great Value! Works Great!!!
I love this product b/c it has several channels, great range, the receiver is compact, and the overall value of the product is 100% worth it. This is great for hobbyists, works GREAT for DIY projects. I Made a P-51 Mustang with this product, and it hasn't let me down yet. -It Does Come W/ A Receiver -Multiple Channels -Long Range -Great For DIY Projects 100% recommend!

Nice radio, successfully upgraded to 10 channels!
I had heard a lot about this radio and what a great deal it is. I gave it a quick test and then did a software update to make it a 10 channel radio. Even without the update, it is a very flexible radio with numerous programable adjustments such as mixing servos. After the update, it easily bound with FlySky's 10 channel receiver. I highly recommend buying the "FlySky Firmware Update Data Cable" to properly and safely update the transmitter. I purchased the cable on ebay for about $7 including shipping. The best reason for getting a legit cable instead of the DIY examples on youtube, aside from the safety factor, is that there are other uses for the cable. For example, if you own or want to use an RC flight simulation program on your PC, this cable allows the FlySky radio to be used with software such as RealFlight8.

Best Tx in the $50-$150 range.
This is my first real Tx (always used this cheap Tx included with cheap drones before this) and I've been very happy with it. I recently upgraded the firmware to the 10 channel setup (free) and added dual antennas ($8 from amazon) for crazy signal range. I believe its impossible to beat this Tx simply for its price, of course there are better but you are gonna have to get out a few hundred bucks instead of the $55 or so for the FS-i6. Super deal for the money.
