Nail Art: Inspiring Designs by the World's Leading Technicians Paperback – January 1, 2013

I've been spending a few years reading various art/fashion books, and now I've ventured into nail territory. The books on offer on Kindle range from the "I need a few bucks so I'll whack something together" variety to - well, to this one. It's got history, leading industry figures, masses of very-well-photographed designs, and how-to's (from afore-mentioned leading industry figures). And it's well written.A fairly major bonus, from my point of view, is that the nail designs are most definitely meant for adults. I don't mean just women, either. They are elegant, not super-cute. Not that I have anything against super-cute. But I'm nearly forty. Super-cute is for my eleven year old niece.The how-to's are straightforward, and I think achievable. I'm certainly looking forward to trying them.Essentially, if you are an adult interested in nail art, DIY nails, or just fond of fantastic artwork, you are going to love this book.PS Some of the artwork is just mind blowing. Beautiful examples of human creativity and skill.

Some great nail designs for nail art. Some pretty wild designs. If you consider yourself to be exotic you will love some of the nail art in this book.

I loved the book , I just wish I could have gotten the printed version if there is one or at least be able to downloaded and have it printed so I can share it with my Nail Technician class

Ordered this book for our elementary aged children who wanted a real nail art book. Luckily decided to look through it before wrapping for Christmas. First half of book was pretty cool nail art. Then suddenly photos changed to hollywood artists showing a lot of cleavage. As I'm considering whether it's going to fly with the family, it just got worse. Left the world of nail art and entered nudity, photo of a girl in a dress that was just strips of fabric - and her nipples showing through. Not Nail art. Returned.
