It works great. I bought it for straightening my beard when I get out of the shower, so probably better it doesn't get too hot.I also uses it on my hair, so win win. Works great for both, so I highly recommend.

A very good beard straightener. Bought for myself, but would also make a very nice gift for a bearded friend or relative.The beard comb is great and fine enough to comb out any tangles after a shower. The beard comb itself is a good size and not too big to pop into the included canvas/burlap bag for travel and it feels like a quality product.
