I have a 9 mo old GSD that loves to remove her crate water pails for fun and sport (I have used bungee cords with puppy proof clasps to no avail) and then she has no water to drink and is not happy with the mess she made (or at least I am not happy with it). Fortunately she does not stay long in her crate but there are times that I do need to keep her confined and I would like her to have water available to drink and not to swim in. I have never had this problem with any of my pups before and figured I was just throwing my money away on another thing that wouldn't work but I can't believe how two simple (but solid) hooks on a flat sided and solid pail made all the difference. I highly recommend!!!!

This pail is sturdy and easily hangs on my indoor kennel or fence. I love how easy it is to remove it to refill and how I’m able to select how high or low I want to hang it.

Love that it holds enough water for the day and that it has a flat back so it isn’t bouncing around in the kennel if the dog bumps it. Easy to clean. I bought the 2 qts and it’s perfect. I was concerned my huskies face wouldn’t fit it the bucket but it definitely does! Highly recommend.

I like that the pail has a flat back and hooks as well as a handle. Makes it safe against spilling water on a hot day.

The clips to hang the pail work great! It is easy to attach and big enough for a large dog to easily drink from.

I'd give this Paul 5 stars for ease of cleaning, sturdiness, and stability except my dog is scared to death of it.It hung securely on his crate and I thought it would be perfect for meals (he eats in his crate) and for night time drinks. But he freaked out and naked the first night until we took it out. We tried putting it back in the daytime but apparently it's just as terrifying in daylight.I did not return it as I believe with time and intensive therapy (medication may be required) this delicate baby (135 lb Great Dane puppy) may come to accept that the pail is not homicidal.

I needed a water dish for our dog in his kennel.His crate is stainless steel as well.The only negative that I have about the bucket, is the prongs don't fit onto his kennel. I have to tie the bucket in. It's a very large crate, 4ft long 3ft wide.Maybe if you had a wire kennel, it would work better.He seems to love drinking out of it, the whole stainless steel with cold water thing.It's large enough to hold water for probably for a few days, if needed.I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't fit onto his crate, and it's a little pricey, I felt. I wanted it to match though.
