Not bulky and have decent support
2 back surgeries behind me, and I need some support sometimes. I have these big bulky back braces that the hospital gave me, but one fell apart and they're really not practical. The copper fit is comfortable and gives me just enough support. The only thing that disappointed me is that the large is too small and the extra large is too big. I wish there was a better fit. But it helps keep me of the couch when I do chores like vacuuming, unloading the dishwasher and lifting bass guitar amplifiers, which I'm not supposed to be doing!

I think I expected too much!
Pain relief? Depends on what you mean. It helps support the lower back so in that way maybe there might be less pain than if it wasn't worn at all. If I'm already achy in my lower back, putting it on doesn't take pain away. At least not for me anyway.Support, yes it does help there. Wearing it while doing general lightweight lifting around the house or shop, helps. Less strains than if it wasn't worn it seems.Comfort is debatable. It isn't comfortable to me. It makes me feel hotter, naturally due to the multiple layers of fabrics and materials. It reduces movement, of course part of that is by design ergo, supporting the back in that regard. But there are times when it has to be taken off to do a task. I guess this is part of where I expected more. Restricted movement is problematic at times and it's inconvenient to stop working to remove it to finish a task.quality! kudos in that regard. it is very well made and for me the 80% of the time I get to use it, I say thank you.
