The TF-820GY makes an ideal EDC, with a partially-serrated 3¼-inch 440 stainless steel blade attached to the 5-inch 440 stainless steel titanium-coated handle, making sure the knife is enough to get the job done while still being slim, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing all for an economical price. When the knife is in the closed position, the blade is held in place by means of torsion springs; as the user applies manual pressure to the ambidextrous thumb studs to open the knife, mechanisms such as the torsion spring moves along a track in the liner and rapidly rotates the blade into the open and locked position.
