Cherne 270188 Mechanical Clean Out Plug, Black

The rubber was too hard and slightly too large to fit into cleanout. I had to pry on it to get it in. I never did get it to seat properly. I would love to see this type of product with spongy rubber that slips in easily and in a few turns starts squeezing into the threads. If this was 1/8" in diameter smaller with softer rubber id buy lots of em.

We have an older home and has a very difficult time finding a old to fit our clean out. This one fit perfectly!

Still allows water to get through my sewer main trap. Not worth the money

I have a 4 inch cap sewer line that the threads were striped. I ordered a 4 inch cap and the rubber on the cap is 4 1/2? The rubber is so hard I could not fit this in my sewer line. I than ordered a 3 1/2 cap and the rubber on that one measures 4 1/4 and that one did not fit also. So here we go again. I purchased the 3 inch cap and the rubber does match at 3 1/2 but after maxing it out it stays at 3 1/2 and was to small. These caps were not for me. I need a cap that seals well and I can also take off in case I need to snake it. These are made in China maybe they don’t know how to size these parts!

It was everything it said it was and worked great. Had no problems with this purchase.

Exactly what I needed. Works well if the threads on your drain clean-out threads aren't in the best shape.
